The Joe Rogan Experience (1 Viewer)

Yeah, I unsubscribed to Joe Rogan after he brought Alex Jones for a second helping.  I know nobody cares, but #### that.  You kiss a turd twice, shame on you.

Wow, Jack Dorsey came back on along with Tim Pool who is an independent journalist highly critical of Twitter.  This should be interesting.

You missed one of the most entertaining podcasts of all time then. Then again, maybe the elves from the 4th dimension got to you.

:lmao:  shame on him

That was epic podcast material they put together.  Joe Rogan couldn't give any less ####s than what the pawns think of the guests he brings on.

Being stoned probably helps
I'm not sure if he is most of the time.  I've only seen him spark up with a few guests and unless he's doing it before the show, for a 3 hour+ show, that's going to wear off in the first half. That is unless he's doing something like edibles.  If he is stoned, he's the most lucid stoner I've ever heard speak on some pretty complicated topics.

Diamond Dave is wired so differently then the normal human

"ya dig?"
This was a really fun podcast. 3 hours and it felt like very little was discussed about Van Halen. DLR is like some kind of Rock and Roll Forrest Gump mixed with Tim Ferriss.

I am trying to find the clip but on opie and jimmy DLR and doc gooden were in at the same time.  DLR was acting as usual and Gooden was being sincere and honest and talking about how drugs are bad and how bad his life got etc.  He told the story about missing the WS parade because he was coked up etc and DLR interrupts and says something to the effect "When I was in Van Halen we called that Tuesday".  Its was incredibly inappropriate and hilarious.

I had to bail on Alex Jones.   He's comical for a bit, but after awhile, its just one conspiracy theory after another.

I have been listening to this in pieces. Wouldn't call it entertaining really but it is interesting. I knew little about this guy other than he was the "frogs are turning gay' meme, Sandyhook grossness, and that he had a alt-rght type website.

He is either an amazing actor or he is a lunatic / functional schizophrenic, paranoid delusional.

Got to be a coke fiend as well or some type of speed.

The Alex Jones one was entertaining.  I usually only hear snippets of Alex Jones (mostly of other people reacting to something crazy he said/did).  I listened to the entire 4+ hours driving from NY to VA.  I found it entertaining.

I'll never be the conspiracy type but I think society needs at least a few people to question everything.

The things we are capable and know today would be considered sorcery years ago.

I never subscribe to conspiracies, but I'll listen.

Alex jones has always been out there but I think he’s faking this current breakdown.

he has a bunch of lawsuits related to sandy hook.  Now he can say he’s crazy.

I never cared much for Lenox Lewis but that was a good interview.

I’ve said this before in this very thread.....

Just skip the episodes with other comics. It’s like hanging out with a group of friends, only you’re the new guy. All inside jokes, talking shop and reminiscing about the good old days at the laugh factory.  It’s awful.

That Alex Jones interview is the most hilarious thing on the internet so far this year. I mean all four hours of it too.

I am with you. I tried to listen to one of the highlight jre clips and could not get thru that. Brutal and how anyone takes anything that he says for real is beyond me.

If anybody was thinking about listening to todays podcast with Stephan Guyenet, don't waste your time.

No idea what he is talking about really... but I really want to punch him in the face.

I'm planning to listen later but curious why you say this?

Probably a stupid question, but how do I listen to todays?  I can only find old ones on iTunes and websites. (Although I found the first 15 minutes on YouTube.)

I feel this way about the martial arts guys and workout bros as well.  I got through about 40mins of the one with Pat McNamara and had to stop.

It’s posted now. It’s the second-to-last one posted (because there were two posted today).
Thanks - I found it when I got up this morning and listened while I got ready and commuted to work.  Still have an hour left to listen to - interesting stuff but a lot of taking past each other and interpreting things their own way.  I posted in the Keto thread my overall thoughts.

Best part of Rogan is that you can peddle nearly any kind of diarrhea on there and he will never call you on it. Re-Animated Zombie Hitler would get a smooth ride on that show.

I had to laugh at a recent podcast (maybe the Adam Connover one) where Joe was bagging on the late night format because it was just a parade of celebs peddling their new stuff.  Dont a lot of his guests have a new book, show, or special coming out?  Hell, the first 5 mins of this Hancock episode was him talking about his book and tour.

They peddle, sure, but they gotta stay there for FOUR HOURS if they're gonna peddle.

Yep, that was entertaining.  Although I did on occasion get a sense that it was two average dudes sitting around trying to talk like intellectuals.  But I still enjoyed it.
