I like the way they shot the oa while she's blind. There are times they film her close up so we don't see what's around her and I felt blind to the scene as well. Very well done imo

She's definitely more in tune emotionally with stuff.

I think I'm just in the "this ending is so stupid" camp. But a part of me is hoping there's something deeper and more meaningful than what I actually saw.

Here's what I wrote in the netflix thread... I'm in for a next season. enough good stuff that outweighed the really bad.

I actually thought the last episode made up for some real dreck in the episodes prior.  I liked how they wrapped up the purpose of the all the weird stuff using the 5 characters.  I still think that stuff is dumb and weird but at least it had a solid end result.

Her premonition came true.  Her nose started bleeding telling her it was happening. The five, who had become skeptical decided to believe.  As a result, they helped foil the gunman and OA made the trip to the other side to find Homer and gang.  She will start experience the NDE.  Steve hears the whoosh and want to go with her.

The ending was bizarre for sure but I think the show did the necessary work for me to buy the characters actions and for me to look past the silliness.  The moment with the kid running after her "Take me with you!" was top notch tv.    

Sign me up for season 2.

Just finished and I thought this was a complete load of horse manure.  I detest shows that leave entire seasons completely open ended.  No closure, no explanation, nothing.

The scene where French sneaks in the house, finds the books and then talks with the weird FBi dude was cringeworthy.   Why did he think it was all made up? 

God this show was garbage.   I kept wanting it to tie everything in but it just failed.  So many loose ends you just dont even know where to start
