My Dillon and Graham picks are starting to look pretty bad. :wall:
If Belli-pass continues this BS I am in the same boat as you my friend. WTF is with no RBs on the field? Are you trying to not keep the D honest???

So much for Givens not starting............I benched him. I'm holding my breath he doesn't get a TD tonight......................Belichek is about as unpredictable as Shanahan.............or Mother NatureWhich makes them good coaches I presume

NE has always been a short pass rather than run the football type of team. I guess all of you Dillon owners forgot about that. Luckily for me, I've got Skip Hicks riding the bench.

Started Graham over Shockey and Josh Brown over Vinatieri. Yeah it's the first possession of the year, but Brady is going to throw for crazy yards this year. Craaaaaaaazy.

Anyone listening to the Pats broadcast?I didn't like the way Graham got tackled and was slow getting up, but ABC didn't even mention it. Is he okay?Starting Graham in two leagues tonight.

Looked like his right knee or lower leg. Looked funny and he got up favoring it...

I've got lots of interest in this game. I'm playing a double-header today. In game one, I've got Edgerrin James and Daniel Graham starting against Tom Brady and Deion Branch. In game two, I've got James and Graham starting against Peyton Manning and Corey Dillon. So, the last thing I want to see is a big passing game.
I forgot to mention that I'm in an IDP league and one of my opponents owns Tedy Bruschi (the guy with Brady and Branch).

Anyone else see how open Edge was on the incomplete preceding the INT? After the play fake, he was all alone on the goal line.Instead, Peyton tries to force back-to-back passes into blanket coverage in the end zone and gets burned on the second one.Love the dopey expression on his face coming off the field.

Just curious...You folks actually watch the game on TV and on the PC at the same time?LOLI'ld just be watching it on tv if I had the chance.

I'm at work so I'm just following NFL Gameday. But on the weekends I'll sit around and watch a game with my browser open here to FBG to BS about the game.

I have been "watching" football this way for 3 years now....

As a James owner, that screen pass with 20 yard run is a sight for sore eyes. That was one aspect that James has been missing since the knee injury in KC.

He looks better tonight than he has in a long time IMO....

Edge was wide open on that play just like he was on the goal line. It's like nobody's picking him up out of the backfield after they play action fake to him.Of course, Bellichik is probably addressing this as I write.

Hah, the Patriots have a patch of their last super bowl win on their jersey.I would've thought a Belichick team would prefer to be looking ahead to 2004, not behind to 2003.How arrogant, too. I don't think any prior champ ever did something like that.
Happens fairly often in other sports...for example, the Marlins have a World Series patch on the arm of their jerseys. Pretty typical.I don't recall the last time an NFL team did it, but the Cowboys come to mind. I sort of wish the Bucs did it last year, I think they look pretty cool.

Not a Dillon owner, but...The question was always: does the NE running game suck because they pass so much, or do they pass so much because their running game sucks? One series is not enough to answer the question (although that first one was not a good sign for Dillon owners).

IMO their running games has sucked because they haven't had the talent to be balanced. Now they do, so we will see which theory is true.On his runs he has looked solid but not spectacular. Don't like the way he has finished off his last 2 runs spinning into a pile...

After forcing two into the endzone on the first possession, Peyton tries to force another into triple coverage. New England D is in his head bad.And on the last play, Bruschi faked the blitz so Peyton planned to throw to Edge, then when Bruschi peeled off and covered Edge short, he had to throw to Harrison short of the 1st down.

interception and the 2nd down before the indy field goal were both dallas clarl targets in the end zone. i am happy about that, but hw should have caught the last one...

Well glad to see another drive start without Dillon in the backfield. Boy this is not looking to good so far. 3 carries so far.
