This is NOT true.  It is moving from ESPN2 to ESPNews starting on Monday (when Get Up debuts), but it is still 4 hours.  G&W is 5-9 CT, Get Up is 6-9 CT.

I thought it was being 3/4 replaced by another show with an even bigger budget to hire people. I don't get espn news so it will be gone anyways as far as I'm concerned.

 
I thought the point of greenburg leaving Mike & Mike was for his own show. Now he has 2 co hosts with him instead of one?? I don't  get it.

It's pretty obvious, Mike/Mike were the only two non-polarizing people in the portfolio with long format experience.  

Splitting them up so their long format could cover more timeline makes a lot of sense on the surface.  

I personally find them boring.  I live in a market with good sports radio, but I can get the appeal from other markets.

The first episode of Greenberg's new show got 283K viewers. 

Not a great ROI on $14.5 million in host salaries. 

 
everyone focuses on ESPN's decline and "fall" but really when will we celebrate its rise? there was a time when it was *almost* essential...

He was making a bunch on the prior deal though. As a raise it isn't huge. I would bet production costs for this show are what makes it spend.y

how did it compare to what aired in the same spot last year or even last month? i'm curious to see how it compares. here's what i am thinking, Disney will use their talent across multiple channels. even if he's overpaid, they'll use him for some dumb gameshow - like they did before - in order to wring out every dollar they can from his contract. we'll see him on GMA and other programs as they seed him to the viewing public.

That show has 5 annoying people on at one time, which tends to split the vote to where nobody has enough votes to win.

 
I think my kid's lego videos have more viewers than Greenberg, beadle, and rose's new morning show.  What a disaster.   But it's hilarious too watching them try to shove #### down people's throat that don't want it.

Not sure on the comparisons but you also have to consider that Mike and Mike was an extremely profitable and filling piece of programming for ESPN and the affiliates so there's a pretty good chance the new version with Golic and Wingo is going to take a financial hit as well.

The most annoying thing is Greenberg's insistent vanilla behavior.  We get it dude you are not going to offend anyone and thats why the company likes you but you have to be more then the ryan sechrist of sports.  You need a little edge or something

i'm sure it was. they're cannibalizing their audience probably. this might be the only way they could keep Greenberg.

Most cable shows would kill for some YouTube unboxing video numbers. 

 
I have a thing for Michelle Beadle.  She knows things and I think she would be a blast in the sack.  I find the show entertaining.  If I want just highlights etc, I watch sportscenter.  On a side note, anyone watch the chris carter show on FS1 I think.  Talk about unwatchable.  The female host always looks like she's about to hurl

It doesn't help that Cris Carter is a condescending ########.  He literally shows no regard for anyone's football opinion unless they played or coached in the NFL, and that includes his co-hosts.  I tried watching it a few times, as it is easy to turn on in the morning when getting ready for work, but Carter makes it unwatchable.

Some clown told her she was going to chase something like a ##### in heat and she responded with a your dad joke.  Woman went from hosting 6PM sportscenter to responding to twitter trolls with your dad jokes.  Amazing
