As I hate the arrogance and condescension of the Northeast, I'll be rooting for the commercials first. After that a close game. Then I'll be hoping for the Giants in a huge upset to shut up the Patriots fans. No matter what, I don't believe this Patriots team is the best of all time...the luckiest (no injuries, timely calls by officials), yes, but definitely NOT the best.

I feel like I win either way. I the Patriots win, I get to be a part of something special. If the GMen win, it is a terrific story all around.

Somehow the sports world finds itself again at New York vs. Boston. I'll be pulling for ABTP (Anyone but the Patriots) and wouldn't it be special to see Eli Manning get the "I'm just Peyton's brother" monkey off his back? Nothing against Tom Brady et al, but they've won it enough. Give me the underdog and the feel good story for Eli Manning. Go Giants. :X

It's not that often that New York is considered the underdog at anything, but I am still pulling for the underdog New York Football Giants. I am also hopeful so that the win will allow the media to allow Eli to be Eli. I think that the two weeks leading up to the game will be interesting to watch him and the media crush.
