If you haven’t seen The Band’s Visit, it’s probably my favorite musical of all time. Have seen it twice. It’s the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood of broadway—no huge, loud, in your face explosions or epic moments, but a clinic in subtlety and art and grown up feelings. And the music is great. Just very different from what you’re used to seeing on broadway. 

Glad to see it clean up last night. Well deserved.
