It really is well done. I think Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Isabel May really good in it. I'm a sucker for a Western, and this one, when it was over, I was craving more!

1883 is a wonderful, well written, well told journey. Great characters. Great cast. Just a great show.

at least a couple years ago, i think. i'm a sucker for end of days type stuff and this was done with a different kind of story to me.

I am a sucker for all things Bosch and Lincoln Lawyer. In the book series, the main characters are half brothers.

This barely missed the cut for me. It is one of the few example where I found a TV/movie adaptation better than the book. Highly recommend.
This is shocking. I like the show quite a bit for what it is. It's entertaining but I wouldn't put it in the top 70.
Side note, this show did make me go out of my way to go to Cole's to get a French Dip. I would never have done that or even knew about Cole's without watching the show.

I've actually been waiting on this one until I read the book. It's in the never ending pile of unread books on my desk. Maybe I should skip it and watch the show?

My wife and I have only a handful of show we watch together. Lincoln Lawyer was perfect for our combination of interests. Opening season was rock solid. We both enjoy these court, law type shows. This was had a unique and cool approach at it.

I think I need to watch Bosch. Have heard it's a similar show. I think this one is really well done.

I've only seen the UK version of Shameless and it's fine? but I never did consider it for this list.
I've probably seen an episode or 2 of 30 for 30 and I generally enjoy documentaries but this never crossed my mind.
1883 was pretty good but it wasn't that good, IMHO.

I have to agree, this is another fast-food show. Which, like Reacher, is the tone of the books as well... beach reading. It's fine quality in technical terms but it's meant to be consumed and discarded. I'm not sure it's a better show in the realm of All Of Tele-Vision than, say, Mr Rogers Neighborhood, LA Law, or St. Elsewhere.

I think we are starting to get a decent picture of things that matter to FBGs for a show.
Fun and rewatchable and entertaining seem to be dominating the lower ranked shows, with some added art-foreard or thinking-heavy and news/sports shows mixed in. I imagine the prestige TV that also tends to be entertaining is gonna show up near the top.
Bosch is much better.

I remember a while back looking into Station 11 after seeing it mentioned here and thought it seemed interesting, so I said I'd add it my list. Apparently when I say "I'll add it to my list" what I'm really saying is "I'll try and remember that" which does NOT happen, at ALL, so I'm going to actually need to start a real, honest to God physical list, starting right now.

Incredible characters, high high tension.
Watch it with english subtitles. It’s the only real way to fully embrace this Korean show.
Seriously season 1 is so so good. Season 2 is also great and was supposed to be part of season 1 but they split it into two seasons.
