At what point are people going to admit they were wrong here?
He does suck, but shouldn't you guys be in the Lacy/McCoy threads instead of beating this horse?
EBF is compiling it as we speak. Is anyone putting together his 2014 highlight reel?
If you read most posts, they are by dynasty owners. Clearly from a redraft perspective he's not a bust anymore. In dynasty leagues he's a historic bust.Eddie Lacy, widely considered a top5 RB and a top6 (1st round pick) who after his performance thus far is *still* considered to have RB2 value) has scored 61.67 points. On the other hand, Trent Richardson, widely considered dung and drafted as the 27th best RB, widely considered to have RB3 value at best (ADP of #66) has scored 61.90 points. McCoy, the #1-2 pick has 67.13 points.
Trent is ranked 20th best RB, outperforming his draft position and is outplaying his RB3 perception to put up RB2 numbers in a 12 team league PPR.
Who was wrong about what now? I know Richardson owners of 2014 were not wrong to draft him at his ADP or later, up to this point at least. He does suck, but shouldn't you guys be in the Lacy/McCoy threads instead of beating this horse?

Trent Richardson left Sunday's Week 7 game against the Bengals with a hamstring injury and will not return.
Richardson tweaked his hammy near the end of the third quarter and the Colts quickly went up 24-0 after that. It's unclear if he has a serious pull or the trainers are just playing it safe with the game in hand. Before the injury, Richardson actually looked really spry, repeatedly using the R1 button to juke away from defenders and showing good skills in the pass game. He finished with 14 carries for 77 yards and four catches for 41 yards. It's the first time T-Rich went over 100 total yards all season. Ahmad Bradshaw and Dan "Boom" Herron are finishing the game out.

And they were on the field for almost 2/3rd's of the game, and Bradshaw and Herron both looked good as well.hey did look good today. however, I have to remind myself that the top three linebackers did not play most of the game for Cincinnati.
I've been hard on him but I was impressed even with the Bengals LB'ers being hurt.hey did look good today. however, I have to remind myself that the top three linebackers did not play most of the game for Cincinnati.
I'm not convinced you watched the "whole" game then.I watched the whole game and Richardson got nothing that his line didn't carve out for him. Unimpressed still.
Inside the 5 yard line, Richardson has 7 carries to Bradshaw's 3. They bring Bradshaw in to catch passes, not run.Looked like a glute the way he cupped it. Regardless, Bradshaw still looks better. I watched the whole game and Richardson got nothing that his line didn't carve out for him. Unimpressed still.
Bradshaw owner here, but I still think they move the ball better with him in. There's a reason they also yank Richardson out for goal line and third down work.
Richardson juked a guy out of his shoes so bad there was a collective gasp by the crowd you could hear over the TV in yesterday's game. He actually did this more than once. Yeah he's not fast and not extremely explosive so he won't break many big plays and will get caught where other backs probably won't. He is capable of making open field moves though. He just proved that. That was the best he looked and he still looked slow. I was dead wrong, hes not good; he has no moves in the open field besides lowering his head and attempt to run you over. The times he got though the line of scrimmage he can't make anybody miss and gets taken down. There was 1 or 2 times I saw in the game yesterday when he looked to get a huge gain and a CB would stand him up. He has no on-the-field speed, no moves and no power, now add to that hes hurt.
He reminds me of a smaller Brandon Jacobs, but Jacobs had that 260 frame.
How many games has Bradshaw missed in his career with this foot injury? Not to hijack, but who is the Clots 3rd RB? Herron? If TRich has bad hammy and Bradshaw is already overdue for a foot injury, might be more playing time for somebody fairly soon in a good offense...
I must of missed that but thanks.Richardson juked a guy out of his shoes so bad there was a collective gasp by the crowd you could hear over the TV in yesterday's game. Bradshaw is one of the toughest SOBs at Running Back, he'll go until he can't. Hard to compare the 2 IMO.How many games has Bradshaw missed in his career with this foot injury? Not to hijack, but who is the Clots 3rd RB? Herron? I didn't say that they did. He's constantly in on third down for pass protection and is TD-dependent precisely because of those passes that you mention. I still think they move the ball better with him in the game.Inside the 5 yard line, Richardson has 7 carries to Bradshaw's 3. Trent Richardson said the hamstring injury he sustained Sunday is a "little tweak, nothing big."
Richardson sustained the strain in the fourth quarter and didn't return as the Colts had the game in hand. "I was able to still run and move. Coach told me there's no reason to back out there," he said.
Thank god! We need him playing to spell bradshawTrent Richardson said the hamstring injury he sustained Sunday is a "little tweak, nothing big."

That Ingram thread needs some up and running.
I've been buying over the last few weeks, but with the injury you'll probably find that he won't bring anything worthwhile. I was able to get him straight up for Carlos Hyde in two redraft leagues.Anyone looking to trade him away based on recent good games?
Yes. FWIW I traded him and Harvin for B. Marshall in a redraft. I didn't trust him to continue producing the way he was.Bucky86 said:Anyone looking to trade him away based on recent good games?
To be fair, Ingram hasn't necessarily failed as a runner - he just hasn't seen the volume that a feature back needs, being in a pass happy offense that prefers a RBBC.Both are Bama backs with truck size holes in college that couldn't cope with tighter seams in the NFL. Both could pull a Cedric Benson/Thomas Jones type revival of career. Both have value, although less than the hyped amount coming out of college. I can see the comparisons as legit.
Kind of weird. Richardson said it's just a little tweak, but the team sent him for a MRI which doesn't match up. Haven't heard any results of the MRI. I'm officially worried about his status for this week.any updates on the MRI they did on the hammy
The MRI could be precautionary. It is odd that no results were released, but that could be a good thing as well.Kind of weird. No. Although he should! I think Herron has real NFL ability.Any chance Robert Herron "Wally Pips" Richardson if he misses a few games?
I agree Ingram hasn't failed as a "runner", but he has as a fantasy RB. Because he is there it is seen as what you describe, a pass happy RBBC wasteland for fantasy, but I contend if he was who they thought he was, this would not be the case. I could still see your argument when Sproles was there as his elite skill is greater than even McCoy at some things, but Pierre Thomas, Cadet? If Ingram was a complete back, Ingram would be getting 50-70% of Thomas's production. Now Thomas is injured and we hear Cadet is the new guy, not Ingram. So for whatever reason Ingram could not take over this Cadet/Thomas/Sproles role even as the personnel competition for these highly productive snaps has degraded in skill over time. Assuming he has been practicing these skills for 3+ years at the NFL level he still cannot take on this role so can we assume he is less than average at this skillset? The coaches in NO see him everyday for 3+ years in practice and DO NOT want him in those situations. Lacy is also showing signs of being less than average, or at least less than the JAG Starks in plenty of situations as well.To be fair, Ingram hasn't necessarily failed as a runner - he just hasn't seen the volume that a feature back needs, being in a pass happy offense that prefers a RBBC.Both are Bama backs with truck size holes in college that couldn't cope with tighter seams in the NFL.
