The Trump Years- Every day something more shocking than the last! (6 Viewers)

In a twisted way, he's right. That's exactly what Donald Trump does. He catches himself sometimes. Usually something like "Not many people know this, but the Solar System has 8 planets. Who knew?" after years of him saying the Solar System revolves around the Earth. That was the truth as he understood it.
 Hence the definition of narcissism

I heard an astonishing defense of Trump from a Republican donor this morning on MSNBC. This is almost an exact quote based on memory:

"I don't believe the President lies. He tells the truth as he understands it, based on his knowledge of the facts."
Costanza said it best “it’s not a lie if you believe it to be true”

theres a Seinfeld for everything

Only the hard hitting news stories of the day. Bringing the news to the people. Only the facts... only the news.

If they only had to show their ID with every purchase, these gang members could be stopped in their tracks.

Look, maybe you guys shop at the regular food market, but I belong to this exclusive club, and to shop there you have to show your ID. They have much bigger boxes than the usual store the poors go to, and is run by a very great American named Sam.

If I go to the auto parts market or the suit market I don’t have to show my ID. Sometimes I go to Boston market. Not as good as kfc, but they also don’t ID. They also have food there so sometimes I call it the food market by accident, it gets really confusing. One time I saw Ronald McDonald at the stock market,  he rang the bell with the monopoly guy....I wonder when they’ll have that promotion again, I could use a Big Mac.

QAnon is what it looks like when this categorical rejection of fact spins totally out of control.
I'm willing to bet decent money that a ven diagram with their members and owners of banana slicers is almost a perfect circle.

After reading this I want to eat a McRib.

Sarah Sanders declined in the White House Press Briefing to say that the press is not the enemy of the people, despite being pressed twice by Jim Acosta.

Sanders instead accused the media of lowering the level of discourse in the country, and said media members have been guilty of lobbing personal attacks. Although she did say "certainly we have a role to play" regarding poor dialogue, but also says media plays role as well.

Can't wait for her to hit her limit of lies for a lifetime and burst into flames.

She's a vile and disgusting human being.

I can't even listen to the lies she spouts from the podium...she's like Trumps apprentice...same nonsense.
I understand that her job is to lie for her liar boss. But the way she does it with such disdain for people who are actually decent is what pisses me off.  At least Sean Spicer used to crack a smile once in awhile. Showing us that he was in on the joke. The Press asks Sanders legitimate questions and knows she is lying and she has the nerve to get nasty with them. One of the country's most disgusting citizens. I wish her nothing but the worst.

Yeah, I knew (and I think we all knew) Trump was pretty soulless and lacked any sense of empathy.  It's a bit harder for me to wrap my head around how much Trump's lack of empathy has infected basically everyone around him too.

"The Press is the enemy of the people", is officially the postition of the US government right now. Yet another one of those bizarro world moments of this presidency. And then these same folks wave their flags and claim the patriotic high ground. Amazing.

The thing that leaps immediately to mind on reading that:

if the RNC is officially declaring the Koch's persona non grata, they would have had to come up with a suitable replacement for 1. Their money and 2. Their polling infrastructue, especially, the referenced donor/voter database.

where did those replacements come from?
Maybe they've calculated that, with Don in charge, they can steal as much as the Kochs would have given them -- without having to deal with any of the Kochs' crappy conditions.

The whole thing kinda oddly reminds me of the Stanford prison experiment.
