Things of significance so far (1 Viewer)

# Sammy Morris taking significant chunks of carries from Maroney

# Chatman has indeed taken significant touches away from Brown

# Peterson clearly the man already, and then some, in Min

# Brian Leonard has 3 catches at this stage to Jackson's 1 (I know some people predicted this)

# Moss looking dominant with Brady

obviously I'm only getting some of these from the box scores. What else have we got?

At least 2 of the Leonard receptions were with Jackson in the game where he went in motion and Leonard was the checkdown. And Jackson has had a couple of targets missed, so I wouldn't be giving Leonard quite the credit you are giving him. Bigger issue is Pace's injury.

Drew Carter, 2 TD's.

Brandon Marshall, 1 TD

Jason Avant, 1 TD

C.Taylor was injured early on... I do agree that Peterson has started off with a BANG.I was surprised at how much Pennington targeted Cotchery today....

don't laugh, but Randle El looks like he's worth a roster spot...
 - Couple of things I was hoping to see that appear to be valid:Randle El may finally be used correctly this year.Vikings defense looks like a top-tier NFL and fantasy defense. (This one will take a while to prove, though.)

 They were top 5 fantasy defense last year. Dont know why this is such a surprise.
:loco: They weren't exactly jumping off the boards in my drafts.

Then...the shark move would be to draft them???

It's too early to jump on Marshawn's bandwagon, IMO. He looked good, but his line looked awful, and it was definitely one of those "take away one play and..." days. Obviously you can't take away one play, but too many of those days and you begin to wonder what's going to happen when one day he DOESN'T make that "take away one play..." play.

With that said, BMarshall is obviously the WR2 in Denver, and he is obviously going to be a big part of this offense.

Much to mu chagrin, Vincent Jackson has looked absolutely horrible in all facets of his game today

I wouldn't read too much into that, as he is facing one the best passing defenses in the NFL, without question. He has made some bonehead plays/drops, but I don't think you can minimize the concentration it takes just lining up across from the Bear's D. You gonna give up on Rivers too? :goodposting:

I question the Atlanta coaching staff greatly for many things. The main wtf thing was how little they used Norwood. It seemed clear to me he was about the best thing they had on offense.

Mason Crosby is for real especially in leagues that give extra points for long field goals. Even the 53 yarder looked like a chip shot. Hit 86% in the pre-season.
