This Is Us

I have in person meetings with different people a few times a year almost always followed by a lunch before I fly home. Without exception, every lunch has a woman in her 50s that always starts “have any of you seen This Is Us?  It is just amazing. I cry and cry.”

I used to just nod and smile but my new strategy is to say “oh, we’ve got it DVR’d so my wife an I can watch together. Don’t spoil it!”  9/10 times that gets me out of that conversation.

The only time we ever win in casinos is on the slots. One time won 5k and last week won 900. I rarely gamble but enjoy the slots and for some reason do well.
