He's won two Majors since Earl died seven years ago. One was more or less immediately after he passed and that was clearly all about Earl. So, for all intents and purposes, one Major since. Obviously, a ton of all obstacles have come along as well, but I think not just the Dad role, but the guru thing going on there was big. He could get his pulse to non-existent in the moment. He can't do that anymore. I think adrenaline has stopped becoming awesome juice for him and instead is what it is to everybody else in the field. My guess is that he needs a find a new guru.
