Dunno, not a mind-reader. Doesn't really matter. He was the best golfer in the world by far for at least one season post-prediction. So he wasn't close to done, and he was way more than simply competitive. Wrong and wrong. Terrible prediction.

Though you may try, you'll never be able to detract from the single greatest prediction since the invention of electricity. Tiger was on top of the world, seemed a shoe-in to smash The Gold Bear's record when Fin was gracious enough to drop this message from the gods in our lap.
