You gonna follow him to his plane home?Weather is just amazing right now. Heading out to follow Spieth in a bit.
Oh is he not making the cut?You gonna follow him to his plane home?
He just finished his round. +5 for the tourney. Played with Tiger.Oh is he not making the cut?
I’m just going out there to enjoy the weather and some beers. I don’t care if he shoots a 130 honestly.
Another thing that was so amazing about Tiger back in his prime. He just finished his round. +5 for the tourney. Played with Tiger.
Oh it’s McIlroyHe just finished his round. +5 for the tourney. Played with Tiger.
No big deal. You won't be able to tell difference after 6-7 beers anyway and they should still be cold.Oh it’s McElroy.
I really don’t follow this #### at all
Gusting. Although Copperhead is only a few blocks from the water, it sits high...should be windy all weekend. How's the wind?
Kid wasn't alive last time Tiger won a major.
Roughly the same reaction my 60-y.o. had mother at the 1996 US Open. She bought a visor & got Nicklaus,Watson & the reigning two-time Amateur champ.
I worked the '84 PGA as a kid at Shoal Creek...got everyone...Palmer, Jack, Norman, Trevino, Seve, Player, Watson, etc...lost the visor but still vividly remember semi-meeting some of them, as they were pretty interactive with kids. The King was the best...Roughly the same reaction my 60-y.o. had mother at the 1996 US Open. She bought a visor & got Nicklaus,Watson & the reigning two-time Amateur champ.

I have exactly one autograph. Which somebody else got & gave to me. Never understood it.
My brother went to the Arnold Palmer Academy (then at Statton Mountain, VT) in 1972 as a 15 y.o. He won the end of the week tournament for his class and his prize was playing 9 holes with Arnold and two other students. He flew his own plane in & went straight from the airfield to the course. I've met a few athletes and IME there is no comparison. Just the most gracious, warm person I've ever been around. Made anyone who talked to him feel like the most important person in the world. My whole family drove from Michigan to pick up my brother - made it a family vacation along the way - and we still talk about it from time to time.I worked the '84 PGA as a kid at Shoal Creek...got everyone...Palmer, Jack, Norman, Trevino, Seve, Player, Watson, etc...lost the visor but still vividly remember semi-meeting some of them, as they were pretty interactive with kids. I was ten at the time. A few months earlier Charlie Sanders pulled me out of the stands to shoot a free throw for the Lions barnstorming basketball team (imagine that existing today.) My sister babysat for Mickey Lolich’s 3 daughters all winter. At that age (& that era) it seemed like NBD to meet athletes.
Someone will reach around early for himJohnny Rock said:Where does Tiger go in a Majors Only draft? Placing well contributes to your team score even if he doesn’t win.
Top 30?
Where will someone reach for him?
Tiger's last 5 tourneys(the only ones he played obviously)... 9th, 23rd, MC, 12th, and currently 2nd. Those would be impressive stats for anyone outside of the top 10 in the world. I'd gladly take him in the top 20 somewhere right now. If he shows even more improvement next week? Top 10 for me on any majors board. He knows how to deal with major championship pressure.Johnny Rock said:Where does Tiger go in a Majors Only draft? Placing well contributes to your team score even if he doesn’t win.

Saw that coming...they were getting low mid-aft yesterday. It'll happen over the next two days for sure. There were some other areas where you could tell they weren't ready...parking. Has to be tough to ramp up that much that quickly. They ran out of beer![]()
fadeBovada now has Tiger as the favorite to win this tournament. +400. Casey and Rose at +700.
My Honda, but related - Tiger has never missed two consecutive cuts. Maybe not quite so significant now as he cuts back on his tournament schedule. Stlill a nice streak.Another thing that was so amazing about Tiger back in his prime.
Tiger went 142 in a row without missing the cut![]()
Paul Casey has the longest current streak right now at 26
It's like Christmas morning. I can't even sleep I'm so excited. I don't think I can stand to follow Tiger around all day though. There are some good spots where you can get in front of his group and catch multiple holes. They ran out of beer![]()
Had some bloody mary’s instead. It was a good time - 10 minutes door to door from my house. Legit never had an idea this was that close to me. I’ll go back next year and just uber there.
Golf bros are real dbags though. We watched a couple groups in front of the Hooters Bro tent and it was just the worst.
This is an open (Open?) question IMO. There's no doubt his head was in his way when he first came back and until I see him grind out a final round 70 to win from the front I'm dubious. He knows how to deal with major championship pressure.
I want in on this.I'm ok with a bet with him winning a tour event before the end of 2018.
Really?I don't know if you guys know this or not, but when Tiger is in contention interest in golf really explodes. More attendance, higher ratings, all of it.
WTF? Am I going to have to pay up before Otis?Nope. Straight up he wins one tourney this year, no stipulations other than it's a pga sanctioned event. You're on if you agree to that.
We were standing there watching Rory and then Sergio’s group. Sergio walks right by us and fist bumps some kids etc and some doosh said YOU SUCK SERGIO.It's like Christmas morning. I won't go anywhere near that Owl's Nest. Total sausage fest.
As a group, golf fans are incredibly classy but there’s a decent subset of young ##### bags that make it their mission in life to live up to the rich bro stereotype. We were standing there watching Rory and then Sergio’s group. Sergio walks right by us and fist bumps some kids etc and some doosh said YOU SUCK SERGIO.
Sergio for some reason gives the guy what he wants and turns around and stares him down. Really odd scene.
I honestly don't understand the desire to do #### like this. Can someone explain it to me?We were standing there watching Rory and then Sergio’s group. Sergio walks right by us and fist bumps some kids etc and some doosh said YOU SUCK SERGIO.

This is as factual as your alleged black jack runMods> pls change thread title to “Otis was right”
I dunno. Then he ran off like the coward he was and yelled “it was him up there” — and pointed to the area I was standing. Ridiculous.I honestly don't understand the desire to do #### like this. Can someone explain it to me?
You just need to learn how to write funny thread titles manActually really miss thread subtitles.
My God, they think that is cool? I guess the definition has changed.I think Mr Roboto is right. Young ####### trying to look 'cool' in front of his friends
?
Swear to god that happened. Every second of that thread 100% true. This is as factual as your alleged black jack run
Dean Knuth (aka The Pope of Slope) has been doing this for fun since Tiger was a youngster. Back in 2015 - on the heels of shooting at 85 st The Memorial - he pegged him as a +5.9. During the Tiger Slam era (circa 2000) when he was obliterating 140 years of major championship history, it never dropped below +10.I wonder if Tiger has a GHIN?
