Saw that Lawrence Timmons went down tonight with either an ankle or knee injury. Has anyone heard anything about the severity of the injury? My draft is tomorrow and I was going after Timmons pretty hard.

According to Tomlin post game, XRays were negative. Be thankful its not a Belichick player.

I wonder if this rules out any ligament damage? If it's a knee, x-rays wouldn't be able to tell. Why in the world has it been so hard to find info on this via the interwebs?

Well, was able to get Timmons as my LB3 after Demeco (who I had kept) and DJ Williams. Hope to hear good news.

In his post-game presser, Tomlin made it clear that there was nothing significant, so Timmons is fine.

Steelers LB Lawrence Timmons will not play in the final preseason game due to a left ankle injury. Timmons was walking around the practice facility in a boot. "Lawrence is probably going to held out of this game with an eye toward his readiness for September 10th," said coach Mike Tomlin.

I am expecting all Steeler first teamers to be out for the 4th preseason game. We should still see Mendy, Sweed, some quality DBs and the ever changing PR, and KRs.

I dont think many people around here to be concerned with the Timmons ankle injury at this time. He has 10+ days to get ready.
