Tim's FFL Year 4- Out of the playoffs again. This league sucks. (1 Viewer)

OK, the way we've always played it is that if you make a bad pick (someone who's already been picked) the next person can pick; you're treated as skipped. That's to prevent somebody from leaving the thread right after they make their pick, which often happens. But there's usually, informally, a few minutes grace period. In this case the clock was off still, 8ebok posted his pick 7 minutes after the bad pick was made. Before he had done so, the bad pick was acknowledged by Bender's team and it seemed reasonable to expect that they were about to correct it.

Therefore in this circumstance I rule that Bender's team gets to correct their pick and 8ebok's selections are null and void for the moment.

How about we formalize this a bit.

An incorrect pick may be replaced within 10 minutes of notification, provided you have time left in your original window.

That should keep the draft from getting killed and not punish people too badly if they have to work or some nonsense

I guess that's fine. But in 4 years of doing this it's never come up before. And even given your suggested rule, what if the clock is off as it is in this case?
