WOW.

I kinda feel like Griffin could have at least taken a dribble before his awkward mid-range floater thing. Even if Jordan doesn't touch it, 4 seconds for the Spurs on an inbounds play is plenty.

Clips don't have a closer. They'll never be a championship team until they have a closer on the offensive side. I'm talking Kobe/Jordan/Curry etc. etc.

Collectively they are also mental midgets. Spurs are just smarter at every single position.

We're in for a legendary 2nd half at Staples.
Yes we were! What a heart thumping stopping game, but SpurssssssssS!
Congratulations to your Spurs. But your Clippers aren't out of it yet.
Should Spurs lose this round, which everyone highly doubts, I won't be rooting for the Clips. Rule #1. Never root for the team that takes out your (#1) team. :gang2:
So you'll be down to the Warriors, Bulls, Cavs, Memphis, and the Rockets?

Take out the Cavs and Bulls. Really don't care about the east... ;)

Women sport logic is painful to read.

There's plenty of ways to bust on CurlyNight's ridiculous shtick without getting misogynistic. Show a little creativity.

I know reporters sometimes ask dumb questions.

But they have a job to do.

And they way Pop treats them is horrible.

They should all get together and make a pact not to ask him any real questions.

"What's the story with that ridiculous beard you're wearing? No mirrors in your house?"

"Phil Jackson won 11 titles, and he wore a tie for every game. How do yo expect to catch him when you look like a slob out there?"

"Who do your black players think is at fault in Baltimore?"

If their bosses insist on basketball questions:

"I know you guys won, but does it bother you the Clippers gave you the game with Chris Paul's technical and Matt Barnes' failure to box out on a free throw?

As a fan of the Spurs, Warriors, Bulls, Cavs, Grizz, Hawks, and Rockets (and Bucks, maybe) I am insulted. But we have no more room for bandwagoners, anyway.

We got a fresh hot take here.

Greg Popovich might be one of the greatest coaches of all-time, but when it comes to talking to reporters, well, he's the 2014 Sixers.

It's not only in his contract to talk to reporters, but for Greg it should be an obligation to reach out to his fans. Instead he just reaches for the lowest common denominator. Last night my son wanted to know why the Spurs were playing Hack-a-Jordan. Instead all he got was a heck of a coach giving a hack of an interview.

I don't know which team wants this series less...the Spurs for almost pissing away games 2 and 5 or the Clips for choking on the final possessions in those two games. The Spurs are lucky to still be alive.

Do people really still get upset when Pop doesn't give interviews? I thought we were over this when it started years ago.

Is anyone gonna say, "That Popovich was a hell of a coach, but man he would have been better if he only talked nicer to the media"?

Anyone have any source for firm Round two game dates? Or are those not determined until the series are over?

All is see right now is:
May 4-5: Conf Semis begin (poss move up to May 2 or 3)
May 19 or 20: Conf Finals begin (poss move up to May 17 or 18)

May 13-16th is BBQfest and will be getting 50" flatscreen installed in booth if games are on 13th-16th)

Not sure about upset. Seems like he gets a big pass though for being a ####. Maybe the media likes asking him basketball questions knowing they'll get no answer. Some comedy mixed in would be great though...you have to admit that no?

I don't get upset about it. I just like to make fun of it. It's sports.

Sure if he could throw in some comedy that would be great.

Its just like the whole Marshawn Lynch thing. Outside of the media, did anyone else care that Lynch wasn't talking?

It seems like Pop will give a fairly thorough response if the reporter asks an in depth question. They just rarely ask good questions.

Anyone surprised Rasheed is still ballin in small gyms against a bunch of nobody's, with the same attitude and intensity he had as an NBA player? http://youtu.be/46f7dA354xM
you know what i always liked that guy he was crazy and like the reason they invented the technical but man i just enjoyed watching him play i am glad to see he is still out there doing his thing take that to the bank

Hey look, the Clippers are losing their composure again.
They're just so mentally weak. I don't think Rivers is a good coach in general, but he's a particularly bad fit for this bunch who really need someone who could lead by example in terms of keeping their #### together when things aren't going your way.

They should get Griffin some stickum.
