You could pretty much see this one coming after they signed Edge. I guess the question now is who will get the GL carries for Seattle?

It's gott be Jones. Right? Edge couldn't move a pile of dust at this point in his career.

I think JJ gets the GL love IMO. Edge has been pretty bad in goal line situations and a lot of the time he takes him self out of games when the team gets down there. This has been my observation over the years. Please no stats posting Edge's GL carries over the years needed, this is just the way I see things.

For what it's worth, here are Julius Jones' and Edgerrin James' goal-line stats from 2008 according to Data Dominator (which is reportedly buggy now):Edgerrin James - 24 rushes, 58 yards, 3 rushing TDs (12.5% conversion rate)Julius Jones - 14 rushes, 35 yards, 0 rushing TDs (0% conversion rate)Of course, both were generally pulled for goal-line specialists (Tim Hightower and T.J. Duckett).

I just think edge is the guy to have in seattle now. Goalline/ppr/all around he's better than JJ
