TJ Housh facing his old team (1 Viewer)

TJ heads back to Cincy to face his former team this week. For owners with little to no depth at the wr spot, I wonder if Housh becomes a viable option. He has another week of practice under his belt with Joe Flacco, and should be more familiar with the offensive system. Playing in Cincy, he may be motivated to produce. Thoughts?

I think the short answer is "no" but the rationale that he has had more time to get used to Flacco and the offense is more compelling than "revenge". Being a crafty, possession type guy, I like him as a low ceiling / high floor play.

I don't think revenge would be the factor. Better knowledge of the strengths/weaknesses of those covering him might as he's faced many of them in practice and presumably has a better sense of the type of game Zimmer is likely to call.

He pretty much admitted it was a mistake to leave and while the Bengals didn't sign him Marvin was nothing but complimentary when speaking about him after Seattle let him go.

Basically he left us - I don't think he sees it as a revenge thing.
