**TNF on Prime - Eagles at Giants**(+7.5, 40.5) 8:20 (6 Viewers)

This will get ugly early
The Giants offense shows no imagination (coaching?)
The Giants defense has talent but is underperforming ( coaching?)
The Boo Birds will be loud tonight
The Eagles don't look great but they win, except for last week
Eagles will control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball
Slow and steady with a splash play here and there...

Pheagles- 49

Gints- 9

Damn, that'd be quite a game. The biggest win so far this season is the Vikings winning by 38 over the Bengals in week 3, in a game that had like 3 defensive scores,

I think the Eagles struggle a little bit on offense due to OL issues against a very talented Giants DL. Not enough that I think the Giants win or anything, but I think Vegas has this one pretty much right on the money.

I think Philly continues to try and get AJ Brown going, while also utilizing Hurts more as a rusher. Barkley should also get far more than 6 carries. Probably closer to 20 or so, despite being a tad nicked up.

Giants get a backdoor cover on a late Dart TD. Something like 24-17, but it never really feels like the Giants seriously have a shot.

This is pretty much exactly like I see it playing out- even the score.

The pessimistic Eagles fan in me says that the narrative for this game feels like the following: Giants impressive D-line takes advantage of our mash unit Oline and ends up pressuring Jalen a lot. This leads to a couple of turnovers-probably a strip sack and a forced pass to AJ that gets picked. Offense can't get going and AJ finally blows his top. Jalen Carter questionable hurts us-Giants offense not grea but not terriible either. The Giants defense scores off of one of the turnovers mentioned above to help the cause and the Eagles lose a sloppy, flag-filled game 17-10. To be clear, this is how this week feels. Maybe the Phils' dangling by two fingers at the edge of the cliff has me feeling this way, but I just can't shake this feeling of inevitability that this is going to be a bad game.

That being said, the Gints just lost to the Saints. My hope is that they've cleaned up the pre-snap mistakes, Jalen and Brown have cleared the air to a point where they might be on the same page now, the Fangio vs rookie QBs lore proves to be real and the Birds do real damage to a lesser NYG team-something like 28-10. I just don't think this is the case.

Reality is probably somewhere in the middle so I'm gonna go Eagles over Gints in an ugly game that keeps fans wondering if this is 2023 all over again for the next ten days.

Birds 20-17

I think this is a statement game for the Eagles. All I’ve heard over the national media of late is how disappointing the Eagles have been. They are still 4-1 lol. I believe Dart will be welcomed to the big leagues tonight.

Unfortunately for Philly fans I have no such optimism that the Phillies are winning the series against the Dodgers.

Rookie QB with Wandale Robinson, Jalin Hyatt and Beaux Collins as his WRs.

Giants get pummeled.
Fan favorite mobile qb and fan favorite rb power a passing game with Robinson and 2 very good TEs over an emotional basketcase WR1 pretending to be well-read, a qb who has forgotten how to pass and an offensive coordinator who hates barkley.

Giants 31 Eagles 10

I'm playing ____________ over AJ Brown

or...

I'm playing AJBrown over _____________

GO!!!
I think AJ Brown is a top-15 WR this week, but I'm probably sitting him in the 1 league I have him in, because I nailed the mid-round WRs and have Egbuka, McMillan, and Odunze. Even then, McMillan/AJ is a tossup, and only leaning McMillan because Dallas=shootout.

This is the get right game
If your play IDP make sure you got NYG CBs

The Giants offense shows no imagination
This is also the knock on the Eagles offense from many of the football analysts I listen to. They claim the Eagles offense is faltering, in great part, because it’s too predictable. As of last week, despite the Eagles good record, the Eagles led the NFL in three-and-out rate.

Of course I was just playing with my game prediction, and in the dfs world I'm playing it both ways with (a) a lineup with AJ Brown as captain - since the Iggles simply MUST get this fixed at some point or trade Brown, and (b) a lineup with Theo Johnson as captain since he's an established redzone target and I think the Giants will have to put massive resources against the run game. Having said that, I'm spending less than $5 on showdown slates as its madness to try to handicap these division matchups.

Book it!

Fangio usually does well against rookie QBs.

Eagles are pissed.

I think it could well be more like 31-6.

Fangio will feast on Jaxson Dart.
We will see. I am sure the gameplan will be well designed, but Fangio can't stop guys from committing dumb penalties or taking poor angles/poor tackling techniques.

For as much as we heard about the demise of the Eagles defense via the losses they had this offseason, they seem to be almost as good as they were last year

They are just ya know now the 2nd youngest defense in the entire NFL

However, the new guys Mukuba/Campbell/Jackson and some of the youth is still showing on this defense. Its going to take a minute for it to fully come together in the discipline/100% on the same page level.

But they are getting closer...

So a big game from Saquon?
Like 100+ yards and 2 TDs?

So at least one less taunting penalty tonight already in the bag.

That’s a bad, bad thing for Philly. Ojomo is a player, but he’s not a game-wrecker. BY is banged up himself and was Questionable to play.

They were already struggling at EDGE, even before losing Nolan Smith. Losing the guy that eats up double teams in the middle changes the entire complexion of the game. Plus, Oleumanor is playing.

Giants Oline is actually not abysmal this year. They’re not great. But, they’re kinda serviceable. Given recent history, that’s a huge upgrade.

I still think the Birds win, but it’ll be even uglier and closer, now.

I was gonna say, that's only 1 play fewer than he lasted the last time the Eagles played Thursday.

Totally. Statement game. Eagles roll…….17-13…….

Hurts always has a certain floor and most weeks that's fine
In no way do i think Jordan Love is a better QB but I need a higher ceiling this week
Still have AJB across many leagues, still can't bench him but he's the bottom of the Flex spots right now
There has to be some chance that Hurts scores 3 or 4x tonight in whichever manor and the Eagles roll 38 to whatever
I've seen Hurts ranked near the top this week, lowest ranking was maybe 7th/8th, most places are sticking with him

Yeah count me in Camp: This is going to be ugly but the eagles will win. Typical NFC East matchup but it's also Thursday. There are going to be a lot of 4th and 2s.

The pre-game segment with Marshawn in Central Park got me. They played Don’t Sweat the Technique, and now I’m getting hyped listening to Eric B and Rakim.

Birds got this old school cool style.
