** TNF on Prime Video - Chicago at Washington (-6, 45) ** 8:15 Kickoff (1 Viewer)

Real talk, is the NFL rigged or are the teams too close to call?
Washington isn't good and there wasn't really a reason to think they were. They barely beat Denver and Arizona, and they always play Philly tough. They could easily be 0-4.

I was blown away people took Washington in survivor pools. This was a 50-50 game in my opinion.

to be fair to Howell, he's had men in his face on nearly every drop back and they haven't shown anyone running wide open. Fields has had clean pockets most of the night and guys with yards of separation at times. What we're seeing has less to do with these QBs and more to do with the players around them

i think the thursday game brings anomalies. short prep week and tough for guys to bounce back. when 350 lb guys are pounding on each other for 3 hours, maybe they need more than 3 days to recover. not if there is a buck to grab…..
No doubt the short week results in some subpar play. But both teams are facing that same short week. This goes beyond that.

Roschon Johnson suffered a concussion in Chicago’s Week 5 game against the Commanders and will not return.

He has a point though. TNF games in general seem to be far less predictable then other games. It's hardly the first time one or both TNF teams came out looking like hot garbage

It's certainly not Dallas vs San Francisco, but I can't wait for this game. Bears trying to right the ship. Commanders with maybe their QB. Lots of reasons to watch. I'm always surprised to see people hate on a NFL game.

Reasons to watch at this point?
I think folks will want to see Herbert since he is the main back rest of way, Johnson out with a Concussion
Moore 130/2TD, maybe he hits 200+ tonight
Bears blow leads so maybe the 3rd Q changes the game
Brown and Dotson eached had a 40-50 yds target for a TD that missed, Washington was trying to attack

But yeah 27-3 ism't ideal unless it's 27-3 the other way in the 2nd Half

The deep pass to Brown shows what Howell can do with time.. The guy just isn't a starter.

Dyami was so, so, so open. I am certain I could have made that pass*

If i practiced a lot first. But let's be honest, Howell's probably practiced too so not as if I'm asking for an unfair advantage.

games are generally decided by 1 score and i think the bulk of teams are close talent wise. i think the short week randomizes results even more.

Absolutely

This Amazon Prime experience is terrible. I feel like I have dial up. Buffering and freezing constantly.

Not sure what the point of the two point try was. If you need to convert three times, it's not a three score game

That whole drive was Howell basically taking layups, then the PI on a ball that was uncatchable.

Bears kept playing Deep Tampa 2.

It was less uncatchable than a bunch of balls the refs decided weren't uncatchable in recent years. So the flag did not surprise me. They never rule "uncatchable" anymore unless the ball is thrown in the stands.

Down 27-3 at the Half, just 3 minutes into the 2nd Half
Washington is now just 1 play away from making this a 1-score game
Incredible turnaround
