TO Comes Up Small (1 Viewer)

With TO dropping so many passes in important situations has he lost his place as the best Dallas receiver. Jason Witten looked far better that TO in critical situations. Is it time for the coaching staff to accept that TO can't take this team to the promised land and should focus more on Witten. At least he held on to the ball when it wasn't being picked off by an opposing D'Back or linebacker.

I predict TO loses it this weekend when Moss puts him to shame in Texas stadium. The honeymoon will soon be over!!!!!

granted...T.O had a drop or two, but I don't think you can hang that 2 point conversion on him....he tried to make a play and the ball was underthrown, had it been higher he goes up and gets it....he was two feet above Greer and could've made that catch on a higher ball.

Anyhow, we could go all day talking about bad passes and or balls that should've been caught, but to say Witten is the Cowboys best receiving option is ignorant.

but Witten had more yardage AND a td so that means he must be better.....

He doesn't have very good hands, but he makes up for it with big play potental. This is nothing new, he has always been like that.

I love Witten, but give me a break. Witten, Crayton and the entire offense benefits from the defensive attention TO gets. Witten drops passes, but people don't generally write articles about that. I don't see why people are so focused on this. TO has always had drops, usually more than other elite receivers. He makes up for that because he has the best YAC skills of any receiver in the league in terms of a combination of both power and speed. He will be fine. There are many years in which TO goes through mini-slumps like this and then explodes into the top three by the end of the year. I think that will happen again this year. By the way, I am a Witten owner and not a TO owner.

By the way, TO has has his share of spectacular concentration catches this year as well. If you don't remember them, check out his one-handed catch for a TD he had against the Giants.
