Man, as a Pat's fan I wish. But the only way that happens is if the Pats beat Buffalo, the Broncos lose to the Raiders, and it's a snowy, cold sloppy mess in Foxboro for the playoffs. Then they would actually have a chance to win the Super Bowl, if the conditions were the same. Other than those scenarios, the Pats, unfortunately, aren't going anywhere this year.

Guys, the MVP is over. Seriously, learn to say great job and move on. Manning winning this MVP doesn't take the SBs away from Brady or his previous MVP(s). Manning IMO should have won MVP last year too, but he didn't but it didn't take away from his great year.

Brady had a great regular season, but not nearly as great as Manning. You are watching one of the greatest regular seasons by any QB in history, talking in threads about another guy winning a MVP during that year is ridiculous. Learn to say great job, well done. Pats fans will get their chance in the playoffs.

No way Brady should get it... that's not really the way it works. Manning or McCoy will win. But, Brady had been a great leader this year and willed the team forward- with less than a full stable of horses and some green colts to say the least. There have also been games where Brady has looked bad and been inconsistent, making the games much harder, necessitating last minute heroics or failures. If Brady gets to the SB the talk of his play and leadership this year will be thick and well deserved.

This is ridiculous. Brady's 2007 and 2010 seasons were head-and-shoulders above the rest of the league, and he wholly deserved the MVP award in both years.

Of course, if you believe that an RB shouldn't win the MVP over a QB, a pretty good argument could be made that Peyton Manning should have been league MVP in 8 of his past 10 seasons, with the only exceptions being the aforementioned Brady years.

Sure it will, it will reinforce the opinion that despite having a better offense and a healthier team he couldn't beat Brady and his current ragtag group of midgets, injured rookies and committee of 2 plodders and an amazing backfield receiver; on-top of the Patriots defense, who have throughout this thread and for the entire year been given credit for most of the Pats success, who have lost a major playmaker virtually every week this season -- Twice.

Brady, the record against a substantially tougher schedule, the injuries, the game winning drives, the rookie receiving corp, the reinjuries.

Charles, the chiefs likely aren't even in contention for a wildcard without Charles.

Mccoy, unsure how successful the Iggles would be without Mccoy but Mccoy has opened up this offense without Vick.

They might be running on vapors, but holding the Ravens offense to 7 points the other day was pretty awesome. Sure, the Ravens offense hasn't been that great this year, but holding them a net of -7 (they scored 7, but the NE defense scored 14) is pretty damn awesome.
