I expected this answer. I will rephrase. Is his trade value at a point where most people wouldn't give what Tomlinson is actually worth? I don't want to trade him. That's not the point. The point is whether his value is inflated or if he will actually merits the value given him.
FBG's trade calculator isn't perfect. If you could get a top RB you think will do almost as well as LT and a QB or WR you need then it's fair trade. You'll never get what FBG's say he's worth.
I think that he does merit the value. The 'problem' is that people willing to trade for LT would need a deeeeep roster to make it a good option for them; also LT owners would need to have some extreeme weak points to warrant giving up a top FF RB. I think that as league size expands, the likelihood of this scenario is greater. For example, in my 14 team league, the LT owner is 2-2. He has several weak points. A trade for a good QB, decent RB and good WR may be a smart choice for him.
This is pretty much what it would take for me to trade LT, and then only if I'm not a strong contender with him. I'm actually pretty sure that the only way I'd give LT and Turner in the two leagues I own both is for Reggie Bush and Fitzgerald.
Essentially I traded LT for TJ, Deuce, Roethlisberger and 3 1st round picks next year.
