Tony Romo: Broadcaster (1 Viewer)

Trying to figure out who is more annoying Romo or Collinsworth. They are starting to ruin watching the game. Even my wife who does not watch much football said yesterday "These guys are talking too much.

Yesterday they were at an all time high of talking too much after every single play. Tony "Did you see that Jim..Jim did you see that?.." Or after a possible penalty "Mike..Mike" Not counting everything else.

Collinsworth about every player on the roster rambles "I got a chance to talk to this guy the other day...blah blah blah"

I would rather listen to Tirico by himself..he knows the game and his voice is soothing and not as grating as Collinsworth. Same with Nance and Romo. Would rather just have Nance call the game alone. Romo and Collinsworth ramble way too much into the next play.

It would be absolutely fantastic if they'd do a skycast option for the NFL (like ESPN does for some college games). Hell, I'd even tolerate a portion of the screen allocated to constant advertising in order to get this option.

Liked Romo when he first entered the booth but many of his recent National broadcasts are down right awful, find myself turning him and Nantz off in favor of almost anything including Beethoven's 5th in the background and just watch the game without any announcers or in-booth Refs telling me what i am watching. I don't need their narrative in order to watch

The best was when he was trying to claim that Buffalo had the Ravens right where they wanted them, or something like that, after Baltimore had gone straight down the field, were at the Buffalo 20, and about to score. Which they did.

And no, the final score has nothing whatsoever to do with how bad that "analysis" was at that time.

The guy is a joke. Forget that he needs Ricola, it's the fact he's getting worse.

I wanted to dislike Brady, but I'm happy to admit he's good and improving.

Romo the broadcaster is quite possibly more overrated than Romo the QB.

Most overpaid, overrated FB player/broadaster/personality? maybe ever. Like, Brock Osweiler is doing better so far. Hard to believe.

You're exactly right. Maybe you should impose your will on them.

Ghah.
