OK, maybe I'm wrong. I guess the word is acceptable to some of you. I think the language broadcasted through my TV while watching NFL games with my family shouldn't be tolerated. The more you let slide, the worst it gets.Your talking about personal feelings that have nothing to do with football, some see that word as just another word. Its possible this thread will get off track, so just be prepared until locked.
The word should be removed for our lexicon. That a professional athlete says it on national television works against this. I know you disagree with this idea, so you would be "pro-#####". Nothing personal of course, we just see this issue differently. Everyone that thinks this word shouldn't be said should contact the NFL. If Joe B thinks this world shouldn't be said, he should keep the thread open.LOL @ everybody "shocked and dismayed" over that word.thread locked instantly, I thought the topic had to be brought up again
Not everybody... just some.Just like, not EVERYBODY uses the subject word... just some.LOL @ everybody "shocked and dismayed" over that word.thread locked instantly, I thought the topic had to be brought up again
LOL.........it's ALL about context. If it ended in "ga" and not "ger", it's ok.![]()
How are you going to regulate what excited players say during a game? Most games have MULTIPLE times during a game where players curse if the players voices can be picked up.OK, maybe I'm wrong. You want them to fine/suspend people for offensive language? :( Those would be some great games... with 4-man teams squaring-off made up of kickers and long-snappers.How does thr NFL regulate behavior?
