In dynasty, I still like Richardson over both Stacy and Murray. While the current performances are not even close: Murray is having an excellent season and Stacy has been great in a limited sample size, while Richardson has be pitiful, I'd still opt for him. I completely understand that I could easily be wrong, it's just how I feel.

To me, the larger issue in dynasty is about how you craft a team. Given the current, and likely future state of the rb position as a whole, I'm no longer spending any more than one of my top 3-4 choices on an rb. Further, unless I can get Peterson, McCoy, Charles, and maybe Forte, I'm going with a wr after those players are gone.

Definitely can't judge gut feelings. I respect that opinion much greater than opinions that use bad statistics to show he's actually good when he isn't. He might be good in the future. People say he needs to lose weight, I think his problem is in his mind, not his weight. Dude rejects good holes and that OL makes for him and instead chooses to run into non-existent ones. He decelerates to the LOS when finding the hole too, These two problems tell me he has terrible vision. Can this be fixed? I don't know. I assume this is more instinct than a skill, but I think it could be learned if he works on it. Will he?

I'd rather have a less physically skilled RB that can find holes and take the yardage his OL gives him rather than the weird stuff Richardson does. But if Richardson does get better vision, he could be a star RB.

Any new views on Trent with Don Brown out and his new found use in the receiving game. He's had a decent FF day followed by a very good one. 19 carries vs Houston, but of course understanding that the Colts are going to KC now, which is a whole other story.

The Bears had three RBs do just fine for them-Enis, Thomas, Salaam. Their O stunk. They were average good RBs and the team wanted Barry or Sayers. Their QB play was terrible and didn't improve when they had a decent running game. The team literally made no progress for at least 10 years. At some point, the Bears started trading for offensive talent and IMO that changed everything for them. Still to this day 90 95% of their drafted offensive players are average and they make nice trades.

Rhett was a beast on one of the worst teams ever. I don't think he was right after, but James Wilder was before him. Whatever he got, God Bless, he earned it and was well respected for it. Later he went to the Browns and looked beaten down.

Sammie Smith IIRC was the fumble guy. One was hurt one fumbled. Shula got rid of two top pick RBs with a short time.

Johnny Johnson and Ron Dayne shared the backfield. (I never liked Dayne because coaches couldn't accept he stunk at the GL and it was so frustrating to watch, rest of the field he was good) Johnson...there might have been three Jet RBs then that shared the rock.

Later, Jimmy Johnson struggled to characterize Karim to the media, but he wasn't special. He was just a huge effort guy that gave you all he got. That's what he was trying to say.

Forgotten man in the Indianapolis backfield is RB Ahmad Bradshaw.

If Donald Brown looks passable then Ahmad could be a nice sleeper next year if he gets a shot.

Bradshaw strung together two decent games back-to-back early in the year before he got hurt.

- 15 carries, 65 yards, 1 TD + 3 receptions, 19 receiving yards

- 19 carries, 95, 1 TD + 3 receptions, 16 receiving yards

He's only 27 yards but he has been injured.

Maybe the time off could get him healthy for next year.

It seems Trent is going to have to earn carries next year so it seems to me they'll have an open competition and if Ahmad Bradshaw is healthy then he's the best running back in Indianapolis.

Actually I'd like to contrast with Lacy's success in GB.

The only thing I can see in common is that all three went to Bama and arguably got to take advantage of great line play.

But Lacy has done great in a pass first offense (or at least it was). I haven't watched enough to evaluate him.

Ingram gets carries, he has a usage excuse arguably in a 'pass all the time' offense. He runs hard these days, very hard, like his career depended on it, which I appreciate. I think he has a problem with the Saints zone blocking, he just seems to miss those diagonal alleys, he's constantly missing holes and cuts, it's a vision thing, and he also seems incapable of turning the corner or even in the event he hits a hole taking it all the way. He might do well in another system.

Richardson's been getting lots of carries so no excuses there, and the Colts are supposed to be a run and defense based team, not a pass first team like NO & GB. He just plods, has neither the enthusiasm nor the vision.

what is wrong with these players? seriously...guys not showing up for walk-throughs (Gordon/Trent) and costing themselves millions of dollars for their stupidity. I just don't get it.

If there's ever any possiblity that Trent has a comeback he needs to lose a bunch of weight and get to the low 200's. He's just too bulky and slow...getting fatter certainly didn't help.

#1 fantasy RB since week 2.

He hasn't even really been unleashed yet.

Does it bother anyone that he only has one 100 yard game and no real big games yet? Should it be a concern?

Nope. Doesn't bother me at all. The yards are dependent on carries. He hasn't eclipsed 20 yet. He'll have those 25-30 carry games where he just takes over. He's going to have a lot of monster 150-200 yard games in his career. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of them this year. TD in past 4 games doesn't suck, either. He's a monster. Not worried one bit about him, moving forward (redraft and certainly not in dynasty).

There's a thread on the first page or two entitled "what happened to the Shark Pool?" The answer is ****ty and inconsistent moderation. The fact that an obvious, horrible troll like GreenNGold isn't banned or even warned for his "contributions" is a giant blinking ****ing neon sign pointing to the issues in the Shark Pool. A symptom of a serious issue that is killing the value of this place. And it's 100% fixable. The desire and give-a-#### just don't seem to be there.

I ate my crow on Trent a LONG time ago, whoever the hell you are. Long before this season even started. Digging up some of the worst posts this thread has seen isn't accomplishing anything. The time to crow about being right about Trent was about a year ago. It's just weird to be doing this now.

Sources tell the Indianapolis Star Trent Richardson's absence from the Colts' walk-through and team flight before the AFC Championship Game was due to "serious complications" with his girlfriend's pregnancy.

Per the sources, T-Rich's girlfriend was "experiencing contractions and appeared to be in premature labor at just 28 weeks of pregnancy." That would certainly be a valid reason to miss a walk-through, but sources say T-Rich didn't alert the team in a "timely manner." It's an important issue, as Richardson's resulting suspension means his fully guaranteed $3.184 million for 2015 could be voided. If the Colts take that step, they'll undoubtedly have a fight on their hands.
