Another show runner, director, or editor complaint. Why does VV smashing the glass on Blake need to be in slo-mo? Then you cut immediately to the Barksdalr murder and then we cut back to VV and Blake with some really bad music that they can't figure out what volume it should be on plus VV's limp hand around Blake's whiny throat.
That was the moment I deleted it. Vaughn was horribly miscast but at least it was comical for a while. It really became too absurd to endure anymore.
You stuck it out for 6.5 hours but decided a use of slow motion you didn't agree with was the point where it became too much?
That scene was the last straw for me. I kept hoping for some kind of payoff, and figured well, I stuck it out this long...Before that scene, the one where Valcoro and McAdams almost hook up, she blames the drugs and he shrugs and says you're out of my league anyway? I don't know, I think I could write a better show.
Do any of these people seem like believable human beings, like at all?
