You can't even start to compare Parasite with Gone With the Wind. Parasite was an average movie at best. The type of dark comedy that's been done in the US a thousand times. There’s only one of those, and so that’s what I’m doing.
And it was certainly garbage, you’re right about that. His complaint about “Parasite” winning Best Picture”, his longing for a return to movies like “Gone With the Wind”, have racist overtones.
Independents at 43% and rising.
There’s little doubt who would win the election if it were held today.
How dare you. Worst take of in the history of takes! You can't even start to compare Parasite with Gone With the Wind. Parasite was an average movie at best. The type of dark comedy that's been done in the US a thousand times.
You know how to make a war movie worse? Film the entire thing from one vantage point.
Ford vs. Ferrari? Yeah guys love cars movies haven't been done before.
The Irishman? Like you've never seen that group do a mobster movie before, only this time they're a few years short of doing it in wheelchairs.
So, on a year with zero movies worth celebrating they toss the coin and decide to give it to Parasite with the hope that it helps with their own racist image. lol
Yeah that was pretty terrible, Tim. You should self-report yourself for that nonsense. What the?
If I had a Gatorade jug of likes, I would dump it on this post.
MAGA!!!!!!!!
Glad you warned me about the boner. At cocktail party and excused myself to watch this. BONER!! Thank you fellow patriot. The Best is Yet to Come
Freedom boner time!!!!!
The left is in meltdown mode once again because Lara Trump tweeted this video.
If Trump had a D after his name this speech (closing from the SOTU) would be regarded as one of the greatest in American history)
I wish he talked like this more. We are a nation of exceptional people capable of great things. Too bad he thinks half of us are scumbags. The Best is Yet to Come
Freedom boner time!!!!!

The tweet doesn't match the video clip.Appointments Clause, Appropriations Clause, Emoluments Clause, Freedom of Speech Clause.
@0:57 - seems spot on.The tweet doesn't match the video clip.
"I think in the old days you had to have licenses" ? ? ?@0:57 - seems spot on.

You misspelled deplorable.I wish he talked like this more. We are a nation of exceptional people capable of great things. Too bad he thinks half of us are scumbags.
Not a fan of that comment either, but as far as i know (and I could easily be wrong) Clinton said that in one interview, and it could be argued that it is taken somewhat out of context, regardless it was a stupid thing to say. The president has doubled/tripled down; calling democrats scumbags is basically part of his speeches now.You misspelled deplorable.
I think democrats are angry at more than the last 3 years.Dems are wetting themselves right now. Give them a break on thier vitriol they spew in here. They waisted 3 years on trying to overturn an election and all they are left with is a socialist nominee.
We have Freedom of Speech, not Freedom of Slander. Hopefully, they clean up their act.‘They say what they want to say. We’ll see what happens’.
It should be a good life lesson for them that after years of vitriol and childish behavior attacking Trump they get 4 more years of Trump because they have stooped lower than Trump in their behavior which appeals to no one.Dems are wetting themselves right now. Give them a break on thier vitriol they spew in here. They waisted 3 years on trying to overturn an election and all they are left with is a socialist nominee.
That’s just BS. It’s almost impossible to “stoop lower” than Trump, and Democrats haven’t come close. Nor is trying to protect the rule of law “childish behavior”.It should be a good life lesson for them that after years of vitriol and childish behavior attacking Trump they get 4 more years of Trump because they have stooped lower than Trump in their behavior which appeals to no one.
Sorry but this behavior that many display in here is much more Trump like than leading by example. It’s a microcosm of the left in society. People see this hypocrisy and it’s such a turn off unless something drastic happens you will have 4 more years of Trump due to it. Sorry but that’s your reality. Look at your childish behavior in this thread the last few days, it’s pretty sad. That’s just BS. It’s almost impossible to “stoop lower” than Trump, and Democrats haven’t come close. Nor is trying to protect the rule of law “childish behavior”.
Yes, @GoBirds, “your side” appears to be winning; I can’t deny it, and I find the fact frustrating and depressing. Not because I am so eager to defeat you but because I honestly believe, with every fiber of my being, that this man is an awful President and that his re-election will be a calamity for the entire nation, as much for you as for me. And since I think that you and most other Trump supporters in this forum are honest (much more so than the man they support), I also believe that at some point in the future you’re going to be ashamed and embarrassed that you ever supported this guy. I hope it’s sooner rather than later.

My impression is that the it’s the belief of Trump supporters that the President as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer should make that determination. Is that fair?We have Freedom of Speech, not Freedom of Slander. Hopefully, they clean up their act.
IMHO Trump is morally corrupt. That’s just BS. It’s almost impossible to “stoop lower” than Trump, and Democrats haven’t come close. Nor is trying to protect the rule of law “childish behavior”.

Have you looked at the left lately Tim? They are the most childish people on the planet. Even the great moderate Bloomberg is putting up billboards that say “Trump likes burnt steak.” On a side note I think Bloomberg’s people are playing a huge joke on him. That’s just BS. It’s almost impossible to “stoop lower” than Trump, and Democrats haven’t come close. Nor is trying to protect the rule of law “childish behavior”.

I guess we define behavior differently. I don’t think I’ve been childish. I’ve offered my opinion. I even praised Trump yesterday when I thought he deserved it.Sorry but this behavior that many display in here is much more Trump like than leading by example. It’s a microcosm of the left in society. People see this hypocrisy and it’s such a turn off unless something drastic happens you will have 4 more years of Trump due to it. The forecast is mine, and I’ve explained why in detail (no need to do so again.) The Democrats have a much easier argument- protect ACA, protect pre-existing conditions. Unfortunately if they go with Bernie this winning argument, which Trump really has no defense to stop, is eliminated.I think it's a much tougher case to make that the re-election is going to be a calamity when obviously the initial election wasn't. None of the doomsday predictions came to pass and now everyone, Republicans, Democrats, and independents, are more satisfied with the way things are going ( Gallup Poll ). The Dems have an uphill battle and I get that a dark forecast has to be part of it, but I'm not seeing a brighter future with any of the candidates on the left.
Agreed and I also feel the same about one of my great heroes: Ronald Reagan, who was overall the best President of my lifetime.IMHO Trump is morally corrupt.
99% of the Republicans I know are good if not great people
I agree with a good portion of the GOP.
Bring back Eisenhower I say. I’ll vote for him 6 days a week and twice on Sundays.
PS - speaking of Eisenhower, anyone realize how liberal his AG was? Love the balance his administration brought.
There are Eisenhowers today. Trumpism rejects them and likewise they are increasingly speaking out against Trump.Bring back Eisenhower I say. I’ll vote for him 6 days a week and twice on Sundays.
This I will own. I’m not ashamed to be pompous. Like Emerson Lake and Palmer.
The pomposity
If you’re talking about the Bernie bots I agree.Have you looked at the left lately Tim? They are the most childish people on the planet. Even the great moderate Bloomberg is putting up billboards that say “Trump likes burnt steak.” On a side note I think Bloomberg’s people are playing a huge joke on him.
Zinoviev and Kamenev have more bearing on the current situation, Tim. Sad but true.Agreed and I also feel the same about one of my great heroes: Ronald Reagan, who was overall the best President of my lifetime.
Well...I would vote for Trump over one of those guys.Zinoviev and Kamenev have more bearing on the current situation, Tim. Sad but true.
I'm not talking about quality of person, or ideology, I'm referring to them because their history was about the preeminence of loyalty to the leader as a value in a political system. Reagan's values of liberty and America's exceptionalism have no place in Trump's movement.Well...I would vote for Trump over one of those guys.
Tim at this point the answer to the basic question “are you better off today than you were four years ago” is a resounding yes for a vast number of Americans including minorities who you say trump hates. The only thing Trump sucks at is BEING a racist because his policies have lifted all the brown and black people up. I still predict a much larger number of support from those communities. Just watch. That’s just BS. It’s almost impossible to “stoop lower” than Trump, and Democrats haven’t come close. Nor is trying to protect the rule of law “childish behavior”.

The left can't go a day without calling for hearings on something. It's sad really. It's the boy who cried wolf to the American Public.I guess we define behavior differently. I don’t think I’ve been childish. I’ve offered my opinion. I even praised Trump yesterday when I thought he deserved it.
I do appreciate your implicit criticism of Trump here. But even if I agreed with you that the left is behaving like him, or worse, I still couldn’t by into this argument that “they’ve acted like idiots so let’s punish them, let’s show them.” I don’t want to punish anyone.
He's saying resentment of hypocrisy is a primary motivating factor for Trump supporters, above almost all other values. That's true.I guess we define behavior differently. I don’t think I’ve been childish. I’ve offered my opinion. I even praised Trump yesterday when I thought he deserved it.

I'm sure all the people defending the FISA process are happy that Bernie's campaign is about to be tapped. Probably already was.

Friend of mine, a JAG lawyer, just made an interesting point about Russia/Sanders,
“Wait, I thought the protocol was to not brief the campaign and get an illegal warrant to surveil staffers?”

Well besides completely shredding our democratic institutions, alienating our allies and pitting the country at each other’s throats. Oh and off the scale corruption. Denial off any constitutionally legitimate oversight efforts. Gutting career expertise accross multiple agencies. Attacks on the environment, public education, unions.....I could go on. Stuff is going to hit critical mass at some point.I think it's a much tougher case to make that the re-election is going to be a calamity when obviously the initial election wasn't. Not the campaign that was doing the criming!
