Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like Rogan was trying to call this fight for Edgar. Henderson was landing nice shots that went without comment, but everything Edgar did got a comment from Rogan.

I had it 48-47 Edgar but that was too close to be upset about either way. Henderson - Diaz !
looks like almost all the MMA sites had Edgar winning too. i agree it wasn't a bad decision necessarily, but i thought Frankie should have won. worst part for him is i am not sure what he could have done differently

10-9 Henderson

10-9 Edgar

10-10

10-10

10-9 Edgar

I can't understand why everyone involved in MMA/UFC hates 10-10 (and to a lesser extent 10-8 & 10-7)rounds so much. Even during the broadcast Rogan kept harping on how incredibly close rounds 3 and 4 were, but he never mentioned the round being scored as a draw as a possibility.

feel really bad for Edgar as he has no where to go within the LW division probably isn't going to get a shot at the title for a year and a half at best, despite having lost two close decisions, this one he should have won and i forgot what I'd have scored the previous fight.

:goodposting: this is probably the most accurate score the fight would have got. And yeah, Frankie looked extremely bummed at the press conference, sucks for him

I am growing weary of these lame fights. We've had a couple good cards in the last year, but for the most part we are watching a bunch of really little guys run around the ring for 15 minutes with no one doing any damage. What happened to the big knockouts and the elbows cracking people's heads open?

This Edgar/Henderson fight was horrible. Neither guy engaged, and they were both afraid of being countered, so nothing really happened. What highlights do you show from that fight? Some pretty good leg kicks? A guillotine attempt?

I cant't stand the Diaz brothers, but at least you know that the Diaz/Henderson fight won't unfold like this one did. Nate will tear up Henderson if he just sits back and waits again.

I thought the first two rounds were good. But really, after that they just picked at each other and neither guy really went for it. It looked they could have both fought for another five rounds. That's a problem in a title fight.

I agree the title fight was subpar from an action standpoint. Edgar didn't attempt nearly as many takedowns as the previous fight and Ben got away from the brutal leg kicks after the 2nd round for some reason.

:goodposting: I don't see what Edgar did to win a round other than the 2nd.It was a close fight, but Henderson definitely didn't lose. Since he was the champ going in, he should keep the strap.

I completely agree with this. With some of these guys there is too much focus on winning rounds, not not enough focus on making it look like an actual fight.

Didn't get to watch....why are we saying "stay classy Frankie"??
When Buffer announced the split decision win for Ben, Frankie Edgar threw down his hat and pitched a little hissy fit.
That is what I figured something like that, but I was hoping for something crazy
Crazy like in Frankie's manager dropping Henderson's manager with a punch after the press conference?Because that happened to.Frankie had every right to be upset. He didn't ##### about it, he just said "no comment". I thought he won 49-46. I would be pissed too after training for months and leaving it all in the octagon after 25 minutes. As skill levels increase, finshes become less common. That's just how it works. If guys didn't train like they do every fight would be a finish.

Crazy exactly like that....Like when Paul Dailey took a swing at Josh Koschek or whatever his name is. That was insane.

was that happened during the press conference? there was a loud fight off camera and Dana had to go out and quiet things down

well, it would seem that this would be a great fight to train judges with, or to sit down and evaluate the scoring systems. i wasn't even thinking 10-10 like voice of reason mentioned, but i thought frankie clearly took the 5th.

Yeah. Not quite sure on the details beyond that a punch was thrown and Benson's manager went down.

Frankie needs to start having his team beat the #### out of him with a chair or something before he comes out. He needs to take damage in the 1st to get started. He would also serve himself by walking out with 2 black eyes and a bloody nose, to look better for the judges. The nose thing is tough as a fighter as it effects both breathing and sight. I have something similar from not getting a broken nose fixed properly. One little shot and it bleeds like a sieve. I don't even know if it is completely correctable even with surgery.

Report: Frankie Edgar, Benson Henderson Managers in Post-UFC 150 Fight

August 12, 2012

By Brian Cantor

MMA reporter Ariel Helwani Tweeted early Sunday morning that the managers for Frankie Edgar and Benson Henderson got into a scuffle following UFC 150.

A background argument could unmistakably be heard during the UFC 150 press conference, and according to Helwani, it involved Edgar’s manager Ali Abdelaziz and Henderson’s manager Malki Kawa.

“If you’re wondering what the brouhaha was during the presser, I’m told Frankie’s mgr @alidominance and Bendo’s mgr @malkikawa got into a scuffle,” wrote Helwani. “Not sure who won, but I’m told it was the opposite of the main event, if you catch my drift. For whatever it’s worth, Ali and his team say he punched Malki in the face. It seems like they didn’t like what he had to say after the main event, although, I’m not quite sure what was said.”

Given the fact that Henderson won the UFC 150 bout with Frankie Edgar, Helwani’s Tweet strongly implies that Abdelaziz got the better of Kawa in the scuffle. Reacting to the implication, Kawa wrote, “@arielhelwani so now you go off of one side and that’s how you do???? That’s not what happened but great job in being a #### head reporter.”

He also responded “yeah right” to an accusation that he got “beat up” at the event.
