Eric remindse of someone else: Frank Grimes - Simpsons. 

Both those guys are reality checks to the crazy world of unrealistic characters of their shows. Both feel like they're the ones taking crazy pills beciae no one else around them makes any sense at all and no one else sees it.

Another Bob Newhart, his role as Professor Proton on BBT is awesome. His semi-stutter and how he is all over Penny is so well done.

My vote from Leverage would be Parker

Agree, Parker was a great character.   Hardison was as well.   Really liked that show.  I tend to love that whole Ocean's 11 sort of genre.
