Nah it’s true, Mexico’s the third best team in CONCACAF by a wide margin Dude they won in Azteca last year, Mexican dominance is dead. But it’s a lot of things: the foreign coaches are trash, the domestic coaches pay people off to get their coaching badges early so they’re untrained, the players are mostly rich kid brats, etc. I wanted to see them play a serious game against the US to see what progression there’s been but they’re even worse somehow. Banter era II here I come

you also have Liga MX clubs paying young talented Mexicans to stay in the domestic league and not go abroad to europe with a few exceptions.
