Yup. Best game.Riding your horse and just taking the atmosphere was the best part of RDR. Especially when you first ride into Mexico and that song plays.

what is the name of your current quest?FO3 intro/character creation was kind of novel/neat.

I seem to remember a BB Gun early in the game where you have to kill some roaches.
Before you leave the vault during the Quest "Escape" you should find a 10mm pistol. If memory serves a friend gives the gun to you.
I had the BB gun, and I thought I picked up a pistol. But they don't show up in the inventory. Maybe I dropped them on accident. Or maybe I haven't figured out the interface.what is the name of your current quest?FO3 intro/character creation was kind of novel/neat.

There's instant travel.... go off the path a bit and set up a campsite and then you can travel to your way point. Or you can pay a stage coach to take you and insta travel.RDR is pretty fun so far. Lot of horse riding though and the mechanics for that aren't that great. Other minor complaint is that your character's walking speed is...so...incredibly...s.l.o.w.

Just a nit. Blizzard is not porting this version Diablo 3 to PS4. They are porting over Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls, which is the expansion. More areas, more bad guys, changes in the paragon system and many other changes.Nearing the unofficial "end" of Diablo 3. My wizard hit level 60 a while back, and I'm now on the last act of my Inferno run (the fourth time through, for those not familiar with the structure of the game). I'm ridiculously over-powered and basically mowing down bosses. I know Diablo will be a little tougher, but I haven't died a single time on this playthrough so far.
I'll probably still get the PS4 version depending on what else is launching then, but Blizzard waited way too long to port this over. I could see myself passing altogether if the next gen version drops along with a bunch of other stuff.

I believe the name of the PS4 version will be Diablo III: Ultimate Evil.
Just a cool game.JerseyToughGuys said:I, too, just started Fallout 3 for the first time...
There's a couple of ways to get one before you leave the vault. No biggie though because you outgrow it pretty quickly - nothing to restart for. Once you start wandering outside you can find/loot/buy/kill for as good or better very soon.I had the BB gun, and I thought I picked up a pistol. But they don't show up in the inventory. I haven't played the PS3 or PC versions of Diablo 3, so I'm really excited about the PS4 version - particularly the co-op modes which I heard great things about on the PS3.Yeah, I know. Last of us update. Just finished the basement of the hotel. Man was that intense.
I'm actually jealous. Wish I could play through for the first time again. There's a scene where the game just made me put the controller down, shut down the ps3, and walkaway. I don't think you've hit it yet.Last of us update. Just finished the basement of the hotel. Man was that intense.
Scared the living crap out of me......superbly intense. Told you this game get's crazy!!!Last of us update. Just finished the basement of the hotel. Man was that intense.
Damn you for making me wanna start this up again.Last of us update. Just finished the basement of the hotel. Man was that intense.
You are able to apply a Stimpack to a specific limb (I think by using "X" on the Xbox controller, but it should have an option on your PipBoy to switch from overall to limbs)FO3 Question
I'm sure I can look this up, but. How does healing work? I have damage to my limbs, I heal them via stim packs and that brings up my overall health?
I am helping the gal with the "Travel Guide".
I understand that this a post-apocalyptic game setting, but does the scenery ever vary as you get deeper?
Dont think I have either. Will go back again tonight.I'm actually jealous. Wish I could play through for the first time again. No problem. Dont think I've said too much yet but I'll spoiler tag it from now on.A request to keep details of Last of Us to a minimum in the thread please. It's relatively recent (compared to oft discussed games like FO3 and Mass Effect) and some of us haven't played and are waiting for the PS4 port.
Appreciate it. If you really want to go hog wild talking about it, there is a Last of Us thread around here somewhere...I don't think anyone is too worried about spoilers in that thread. No problem. Stimpacks, water (dirty works too, but just keep an eye on your rad), any nuka-cola you find (don't drink the Nuka-cola Quantum. Save any you find in storage for later. It won't hurt you though), food. Again, keep an eye on your rad for most of this stuff. Use Radaway if you get sick.FO3 Question

As said above, go into the pipboy where you see your hurt limbs and apply the stimpacks directly to the damaged limbs.

Truthfully, unless backed into a corner, limbs are a terrible use of stims. Because usually it takes 2 or 3 to fix a limb, and you get no HP benefit from that.
Last of us update
Made it past the bridge. Met up with Henry and his brother. No gut wrenching moments yet. I feel like one is coming.
I feel your painA moment of silence for my launch xbox 360 white controller just died on me. :sniff: it had went through 4 sets of analog sticks, a replacement y button, an added hard piece of plastic under the dpad to make it function about halfway through its life as the left dpad wouldn't click. Just today the mechanical inside of the left analog won't go back even close to center. It is stuck to the left so RIP good old white controller. I did take the custom hard piece of plastic and stuck it in another controller to make the dpad more sensitive for me.
The white controller lived its life through three copies of Gears of War 2. One of which had death by roommate using as a coaster, and the other of being snapped in half from pure lag provoked competitive rage. The controller will be missed.
Are all your other choices present? Only thing I can think of is that it didn't load your save and just started you from a new stock game in ME3.The other thing is early on you interact more with Ash than you do Liara. Might just be that. Finally playing Mass Effect 3 for the first time. I have the first two on PC and since ME3 moved to Origin, I took my time to get it. So now I have it and I've started playing it. I'll try to make this spoiler-free for those who haven't played...
I think I have some weird glitch. I'm playing my male Shepard (since he's the only one I've finished both games with) and in the first game, I chose Liara to romance and in the second, I chose Miranda (I don't have the DLC to choose Liara again in the second game). But starting the third game out, Ashley acts like were were together in the first game and Liara doesn't mention us at all. I'm confused, and I'm just playing along, but it's hard to get fully invested in the characters when my game choices aren't sticking.
Anyway, I wanted to mention that and see if anyone else had the problem.
It's still early. But the dialog still seems to present that I chose Ashley. It took the save from ME2 and ME2 took it from 1. The 2nd game seemed to be right, but it's hard to tell since interaction with Ashley and Liara were limited in the 2nd.Are all your other choices present? That seems odd. I let Ashley die in ME1 (it seemed like the appropriate tactical decision at the time, I began to regret it when Kaiden started hitting on me afterwards). At any rate I had no problem with my save data importing, I wonder if there is a way to verify a good import? It's still early. But the dialog still seems to present that I chose Ashley. What makes it clunky? The controls on the PC or does the overall gameplay feel dated to you?Playing KOTOR (PC) for the first time. Clunky as heck but I already really like the story.
The PC movement controls are very dated. The turn based combat mechanics actually hold up surprisingly well. It's a bit frustrating to not simply have crosshairs to aim at a target but it also feels more authentic in that you aren't scoring headshot kills while running on a regular basis. What makes it clunky? I'm curious because I haven't played it in 11 years and I don't know how I would respond to it today.
Enjoy, I just replayed both 1 and 2 last month. If you decide to try the second one also, I highly recommend the restored content mod. Makes the game much less buggy and fixes some story holes.Playing KOTOR (PC) for the first time. Clunky as heck but I already really like the story.
