What game?Online gaming can be a real drag. Recently went online for a game and was running around. Saw two dudes sneaking around obviously setting up a sniper nest. Snuck up on them, rounded the corner and started spraying with the shotgun, killing them both.
They spent the next 10 minutes complaining about the cheap newb with the shotgun. Seems to me that in that one isolated incident, I outplayed them both but, of course, it was because I was using "cheap" weapons and tactics. Stuff drives me crazy. The game is meant to be played however the game can be played, not what's defined in your head as acceptable.

If they're whining about that, then they aren't worth a crap anyway. I wasn't a fan of the Tomb Raider multiplayer. Ah. Then forgive me, the timing on the post made me think you were responding to NewlyRetired about Tomb Raider above.BF3 I think, right before BF4 came outWhat game?Online gaming can be a real drag. you never went to the massage parlor? It's not nearly as "dirty" as GTA, and the fighting is more fun.I don't remember any hookers in Sleeping Dogs. My recollection is that if AC and COD are okay, this should be okay too.
Edit: But Skyrim is a better game overall.
also, spawning cheese wheels on a mountain. So many ways to play through the game. So much fun. I hope that Elder Scrolls online doesn't push back the Elder Scrolls VI.Skyrim is a special game.
mute the other players. that's what I do.Online gaming can be a real drag. Recently went online for a game and was running around. Saw two dudes sneaking around obviously setting up a sniper nest. Snuck up on them, rounded the corner and started spraying with the shotgun, killing them both.

That's honestly why I never touch MP and couldn't care less about that aspect of any game I buy. If it isn't a solid single player game, then I won't even look at it.Online gaming can be a real drag. in it's defense, it can be a blast to play, especially if you get online with friends in a private game. there are a ton of diaperwranglers out there who can make it a real drag, but if you get past that it can be fun.TxBuckeye said:That's honestly why I never touch MP and couldn't care less about that aspect of any game I buy. I'm old enough that I don't really have any friends in to games. Now my son and some nephews are, but they are all Xbox owners, and I am a PS3 owner. So it just really doesn't work out. Not to mention, my play time is the first hours I get home from work. I'm not a "prime time" evening player. So even if I did have an Xbox, it would be tough to hook up with anyone. So single player remains my major focus.in it's defense, it can be a blast to play, especially if you get online with friends in a private game. there are a ton of diaperwranglers out there who can make it a real drag, but if you get past that it can be fun.
i remember getting online with my nephew, who is pretty decent at call of duty. He helped me stay alive for more than the usual 15 seconds, and we had a great time.
Between the summer sale and the autumn sale (which really just ended) I am stocked up on games but I am definitely watching my wishlist intently until Jan 3rd.Looks like the steam sale started thru jan 3rd
* Unless you are interested in an EA published game. Then you have to deal with the Origin prices. I wish I didn't have to, but Titanfall knows I'm waiting for it.Between the summer sale and the autumn sale (which really just ended) I am stocked up on games but I am definitely watching my wishlist intently until Jan 3rd.Looks like the steam sale started thru jan 3rd
What I love about these sales is that I end up with so much content on backlog that I have no problem waiting for high end games (e.g. Metro: Last Light, Rome II, Arkham Origins etc) to drop to under $10 dollars before buying them. Got Far Cry 3 for $7.49 during the Autumn sale. Frankly because of the Steam sales the idea of paying more than $7.49 for a game seems wasteful.
After playing for a while, it feels like a carbon copy of BioShock 2's mp.I wasn't a fan of the Tomb Raider multiplayer. Just felt like generic multiplayer shoved into a game that didn't need it.
It's not a strict rule it's more of a general guideline. I am really looking forward to Titanfall too, but there will be a price drop in that too eventually.* Unless you are interested in an EA published game. Then you have to deal with the Origin prices. That's spot on to me. Tacked on MP in a game that didn't need it. If you liked it, that's cool. At least Bioshock 2's had a good storyline to fit it.After playing for a while, it feels like a carbon copy of BioShock 2's mp.I wasn't a fan of the Tomb Raider multiplayer. I enjoyed it but preferred Dishonored ($7.49 for another 3 hours). And so it begins.
Bioshock Infinite for $9.99
Got dishonored in the summet sale for $9.99. Still haven't played itI enjoyed it but preferred Dishonored ($7.49 for another 3 hours).Infinite is totally worth buying but it didn't really resonate as a true Bioshock game to me. The campaign was also a little short IMO.And so it begins.
Bioshock Infinite for $9.99
.So it is an Android based gaming console or something like that? So what games can you play on it?If you've been considering the Ouya (I have, just to figure out what the heck it is), there's a discount on it today that makes it $60 instead of $100.
Buy from their site and add the code "calamity" at checkout.
With as little traction as the system has seemed to gain, "calamity" seems a little apropos.
I have heard very good things about it and it's on my wishlist and it is a good price @ $8.99 but I am still going to be cheap and wait for next year.Broke down and bought The Stanley Parable. Looks very interesting.
Android games mostly. Here is a list of some of the more popular Ouya games. It would be great for a cheap emulator. So it is an Android based gaming console or something like that? Curious to know whether it's any better than the free MOD was. It was also interesting, but not worth paying money for.Broke down and bought The Stanley Parable. Looks very interesting.

Having toruble getting the timing and controls down, I had to go online to read the full manual since the ingame "tutorial" sucks....DO YOU SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN?
Just started up WWE2K14. Played the first wrestlemania match Andre the Giant vs Big John Stud!!!
Little clunky and still don't know all the options but for the 40 bucks it's mindless fun thus far!!!
I think the consensus is that if you aren't the kind of person who preordered back in June (an early adopter who was getting a new system no matter what), the games just aren't there to justify making the jump right now. I like my PS4, but I'd have a hard time recommending its current game library, and the Xbox is no better. That's probably not going to change until next spring. What's the general FBG consensus on the new systems?
Deus Ex is a really good stealth game. I think a typical playthrough is 20-25 hours, it has pretty good replay value, and it would be my pick of those four games.Just upgraded my GPU and received a rewards card to select 1 of 4 games for free. I haven't played any of the selections. Any recommendations on which one to take?
Sleeping Dogs
Deus Ex Human Evolution
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon
Dirt 3
MS just converted their points to real dollars. Will a Microsoft point card equal real life $?
COD Ghosts....
TIA....Quickly.
