What I'm hearing on V. Jackson: Had this been another game of lesser importance, he probably would be listed as doubtful or out. More...

He still wants to test his injury in warmups a few hours before the game to see if he can play.

Also on V Jax and SD, if DEN wins and the Raiders lose, DEN wins AFC West. Those games are early, SD later.

ESPN's Pedro Gomez reported from Detroit that VJ "probably will get out there" but he acknowledged that he doesn't really know and said even if he plays there is no way to know if he would be able to be effective.

I'm reluctantly benching VJ and picking up Hartline for a spot start.

Oh good lord. What do we do with this??? If he's active how risky is it? I just feel like we get duped by these reports too much about how bad the injury is and the player ends up being fine.
