Waiver Wire Wonders (1 Viewer)

For many of that draft early, waviers are closed until a week before the season opens and then we have a blind bid before FCFS.

Let us put together a list of players who might be out there who now have value but didn't get drafted:

Norwood

Buckhalter

Jennings

Lundy/Morency (grab both if you can, grab Lundy if you can't).

Tony Scheffler - TE - Denver (looking like he has a good chance to be the starter this season)

Cedric Cobbs - RB - Denver (probably the primary backup to MBell, and should be dirt cheap)

Corey Bradford - WR - Detroit

Jermaine Wiggins - TE - Minnesota (with KRob gone, there are catches to be had in this offense).

IF Colston is the #2 WR in NO I seriously doubt 20 TEs outscore him this year. I think he'd pretty easily be a top 10 TE at that point.

Marques ColstonFor those on Yahoo, this is a must-grab as he is TE eligible.
I think Yahoo! would change his TE status in due time don't you think? He is listed only as a TE on Yahoo! now....but I think he would go to a WR only soon, right? It's not like you could plug him in as a TE and get his WR #'s (like starting an extra WR). They would change his eligibility on Yahoo!Maybe they give him TE/WR (Ricks)!

Forgive my ignorance, but asuming Colston was a TE now moving tto WR, Yahoo would likely keep TE eligibility and add WR after a number of starts. Then if he remained WR, he'd lose TE-eligibility next season.

Depending on if/howmuch your league gives to return yards, Dante Hall is a good pickup. He finished in the top 20 WR of our league last year and went undrafted this year. I think Herm likes him and is going to try and get him involved as a WR. When you tack on the return yards that he will get he makes for a pretty solid fill in.

Yeah, Dante and Welker are good grabs if you get pts for return yds.

Also Turner will return kicks and is one of the best back-ups out there on potential and a great keeper potential for next year..

If you look at Donte's numbers from last year, he would have been the 2nd highest scoring TE in my league (behind Gates, of course). Colston won't put up those numbers, especially with Reggie there, but could easily finish in the top 10 te's.
