I'd take that....S.Jax is still young and performing well, and we all know Marv is solid. A.J. has been tremendous do far, and Wali is still under the scope to see if he will stay a constant. Was offered M. Harrison and S. Jackson for Lundy and A. Johnson.....
I think I agree with this. His value is not sufficiently high yet that I would be all that interested in what I got in return (unless some sucker comes along). I like his prospective value as much as anyone's, so I say he is a HOLD.But hold him for now...his value isnt high enough to get anything right now....and his potential is huge.
Wow. Did you at least give the other owner the courtesy of a reach around?i made a trade that involved giving up lundy wefore week 8 in a 12 team-dynastyGAVE: Lundy, Dunn, Alex SMith (QB), Drew BennettGOT: LJ, M.Bell, Romo, Colbertlooked fair before week 8 now i think i robbed him
Agreed.I wouldn't trade LJ for Lundy, Dunn, Smith, Bennett, Bell, Romo, Colbert.Wow. the crazy thing was there was no negotiation.. i woke up one morning and he offered it to me and i just about $h!t myself. so i came on FBG's to make sure LJ didn't die in some late night car wreck or something crzy like that and hit accept as fast as i could.Agreed.I wouldn't trade LJ for Lundy, Dunn, Smith, Bennett, Bell, Romo, Colbert.Wow. My Lord...guy offers me Portis for Lundy.I hit that accept button as fast as I could.
Hows this for value (avg yds per game ranking):10: @ Jax (11th)11: Buffalo (19th)12: @ NYJ (30th)13: @ Oak (27th)14: Ten (31st)15: @ NE (3rd)16: Indy (32nd)Throw New England out of there and thats one hell of a stretch of shoddy run defenses. So after a subpar week against the NYG, will this guy yield any value at the trade deadline? Or is he a hold for next year?
That sked is the reason I'm holding on to Lundy. Assuming he remains starter and gets the reps (prob. only positive from NYG game is that he got a ton of carries despite not doing much with them, which tells me coaching staff think he is "their guy") he should be a very nice RB2 going forward.I'm thinking for teams with a week 16 SB, if you get there, that Indy matchup could be gold. You gotta figure at that point there is a good chance Indy is not playing for anything and Lundy will just run all over them.Hows this for value (avg yds per game ranking):10: @ Jax (11th)11: Buffalo (19th)12: @ NYJ (30th)13: @ Oak (27th)14: Ten (31st)15: @ NE (3rd)16: Indy (32nd)Throw New England out of there and thats one hell of a stretch of shoddy run defenses. So after a subpar week against the NYG, will this guy yield any value at the trade deadline? Nice - you got a steal, Doug.Just traded Brian Greise for Lundy. Kind of a unique situation, though -- the Lundy owner is prepping his solid team for the postseason, and was using his 4th RB to handcuff a struggling Grossman. Just in case.
Fell into my lap ... the guy asked what it would take to get Greise from me. I responded that I was unhappy with D Rhodes and R Bush as my main RBs behind LT ... so I said any one of his back-up RBs would get it done (Warrick Dunn, Leon Washington, and Lundy).I expected him to offer maybe a 2-for-2 type deal to even out the value ... instead, he offered Lundy for Greise straight up. It's a clear case of differing perceptions of value -- this guy was riding a hot Grossman all through the first 5 or 6 weeks. Recent bad performances have spooked him on Grossman. As for Lundy ... for this other owner, Lundy was a bye-week filler that may well return to early-season suckitude. So it was perceived as a deep-backup-for-deep-backup deal.Nice - you got a steal, Doug.Just traded Brian Greise for Lundy. you should feel bad even if Glenn was healthy!I just traded Lundy and T. Glenn for Ronnie Brown. I kind of feel bad now because I didn't have knowledge of Glenn being held out of practice a couple of times this week.
True...I feel so terrible!you should feel bad even if Glenn was healthy!I just traded Lundy and T. Glenn for Ronnie Brown. I kind of feel bad now because I didn't have knowledge of Glenn being held out of practice a couple of times this week.
This trade worked out well for meDesperate for a WR, I traded Lundy straight up for Joe Horn (who is the 16th ranked WR in my league).
