Weather in New York today...what's the scoop? (1 Viewer)

I think Kurt Warner is a dangerous start today if weather conditions are bad in New York. Last I checked there was something like an 80% chance of heavy rains there today...anyone know what the weather will be like at Giants Stadium?

Just overcast right now. It's not gonna be that bad, we will be playing baseball in the NYC Metro area today.

Find the 'LGA.' and I think the stadium is somewhere betwen the 'L' and the 'G' in LGA.

Right now the forecast calls for lite winds (6-7 mph) and a 30% chance of showers. The T-Storms aren't expected to start until after 4PM when the game will be finishing up.

I'm about 40 minutes from the stadium in NJ, and there is a steady rain going on right now @ 10:17am. There was some thunder rumblings too and I hear on the local news it should be crappy all day. On and off rain

Rain can be bad for passing - heavy, slippery ball - especially for Warner who has trouble with his handle in the best of circumstances.

I had Mets tickets yesterday and freaked out about the forecasts all week. 90-100% chance of rain. Steady, heavy rain from Friday through Sunday.

There was a light mist around the 5th inning. Nothing at all. Today seems to be more of the same.

If Santana can spin that 3 hitter gem in this? Throwing a football should be no problem.

I live by the stadium and not a drop of rain , hasnt rained in over an hour and its warm out and no wind. Cloudy but thats about it. You dont sit players unless its windy. rain means squat unless its a torrential downpour and thats not expected.. well actually if you have been watching football for years it favors recievers as they know where there going and coverage sometimes ahs a hard time keeping up in slippery conditions.
