*** Week 1 MNF - Texans at Saints - Let the PI Challenges Begin **** (1 Viewer)

Carlos Hyde now 9 carries for over 65 yds on the ground...he was never terrible and with so many weapons around him...he is going to rack up 100 yds a week on 15 carries with this type of firepower under Center and around him. Who did he have in SF, Cleve and Jax exactly? He never got to play a real snap in KC...

Hopkins has managed 6 catches on 10 targets, dropped 3, scored 2 TDs

Will to Power V, the Duke and Stills are a combined 6 catches on 7 targets...

People are saying Duke who???

As for Duke and Hyde: Duke has four carries and Hyde has six (as I type this); Duke has 4 receptions and Hyde 1. So total touches: DUke 8 and Hyde 5. That's a 60 to 40 % touch rate in favor of Duke. Not sure it will end up this way in second half but right now Duke looks like the more valuable fantasy back.
A lot changed since this.

There is plenty of room in this offense for both of them but I'm not shocked that Hyde looks powerful and perhaps a better option between the Tackles, i never thought of Duke as a 250 carry type for the season. Duke will still see plenty of action but Hyde looks more like a lead back.

Even if it works, which it doesn’t seem to very often, I hate every single time they put Hill in.

Just make him a TE.

Like that. That was the way to use Hill.

Lining him up at QB is dumb.

Beautiful use of the clock and the 3rd Quarter by Brees and the Saints, terrific job of Coaching at halftime and making adjustments to their offense.

not a fan of this rule. All the center has to do is keep his head down and the defense CAN'T block it up the middle. That wasn't the intent of the rule

I hate it too. And doesn't anyone else remember the Tim Tebow offense? Watching Hill at QB is like that. I don't like it.

Huge pick by Saints defense. Momentum swinging.

And don't body slam a player in front of his own bench.
