Week 12 Game Thread - Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints (1 Viewer)

Colston's totals through week 12 last year: 68 receptions, 847 yds, 6 TDs.

Moore's totals so far this year: 55 receptions, 704 yards, 7 TDs.

Looks like Brees has a new BFF.

Nice tackling/pursuit by GB. Maybe if they cut those gross Predator hair-do's the wind drag wouldn't have slowed them down.Rodgers on his way to a miserable day.
3 series and you are sure that Rodgers will not have a game?? Have a little patience in faith man.
just a gut feeling, well that and he's misfired on nearly every pass - care to sig bet?? :)
define miserable day

oh..my....g-d, can Kornyheiser stop doing the whole favre-rodgers comparison thing? ITS WEEK 12, WE DONT CARE ABOUT THIS ANYMORE

You know, I really want to hear about how Favre/Rodgers are performing this year. BEATING this story to death!!

So glad I was able to pick Moore up a while back in one of my leagues off the wire. Wishing I got him in my other league that I actually own Colston in...thought Colston had a chance to help win me the championship in that league once he came back....Ughh. Moore has definately looked impressive over the last few week and especially tonight. At first he looked like a guy that might be on and off from week to week. But in this offence he is a very solid WR3 as some have said here already.

I can't figure out if I should try to trust Shockey again or stick with Scaife. Whichever I choose seems to be the wrong one.

I like Kornheiser on PTI for the most part, but he almost makes watching the game unbearable. I would mute it but I like what Jaws had to say. Enough with Favre, move on buddy.

:fishy: That richard adds absolutely nothing to the broadcast. He even got Jaws talking about it.

you guys really need to upgrade the remote and get one with a mute button.
:lmao: I did just that.MUTE him now!

For as many yards as Brees has, has he thrown a ball further than 20 yards yet? They are all quick hitches and slants, and crossing routes.

As a Packer fan I was kind of hoping they would bring their defense to the game. I appreciate Brees has been sharp, but he has a lot of time back there. The only real pressure was on the final two plays of the half before the field goal.

Number 1 thing they need to address in the off-season. While I think losing Jenkins was a loss, the d-line depth has been terrible.

I hate Lance Moore. :fishy:
You have no idea.1) My opponent entered tonight down 51 points and was rolling with Brees/Moore. He's now down all of 8. Its only half time.2) I'm a Colston owner as well.Edit: I'm sure no one cares. But it sure is nice to vent.

not sure. is 70 > 20?
I don't know, have you been watching the game? That was a 5 yard checkdown because the blitz. Bigby missed the tackle and Moore did all the work.
i can't read. and i am a jackass.
No worries. I have just been really impressed with the timing and pace of the Saints offense. Although the terrible specials team play of the Packers is certainly helping them.

If the saints score here and they continue to stop the GB run on first down, this might be a 90 point game.

Somebody tell me again...

Why is Moore around 30th week after week in the weekly projections? Dude gets no respect. I've been starting for a few weeks now...very happy obviously.

has the loss of corey williams hurt them? i recall their run d being a LOT better last year. i know they've had some injuries as well.

Probably for the same reason Ginn gets no love, whatever that reason is.

Not sure but Colston has no bussiness being ranked in the top 50 from here on out. That dude is junk.

Last Play: 2-9-GB 34(9:55) D.Brees pass incomplete short left to M.Colston. PENALTY on GB-N.Collins, Illegal Contact, 5 yards, enforced at GB 34 - No Play.He contributed...happy now? :X

Not tonight, but he's been one of the most accurate deep ball throwers all year.Henderson is AVERAGING about 30 yards a catch, nearly all on the fly. At one point this year (about Week 6 or 7) Brees was throwing at about 70% completion rate for throws 20+ yards. The league average isn't even half that.
