Week 12 who should I start thread **OFFICIAL** (1 Viewer)

PPR Need flex

Aiyuk - could he be getting hot?

Bateman - still has not had a blow up game, but has been serviceable (also playing Andrews in same game)

Patterson - not sure if he is worth playing over the above 2 guys if they decide to play him.
Ranking a banged up Patterson third there.  Atl is a broken offense now, Jax has been improving on D.  Just heard CP is a game time decision.

PPR - which one of the miles:

Miles Sanders (@NYG) or Myles Gaskin (vs. CAR)

Leaning Sanders now because of Howard being out, the team’s commitment to the run, and good matchup against the Giants. Some concern though over Hurts running like crazy, and a potential fumble that could put Jon on the bench.

Gaskin probably has a higher floor given his volume (for now until Lindsay presumably comes in), but he’s not efficient and has a tougher matchup.

So higher ceiling but lower floor for Sanders.

Thanks…
Tough match up for Gaskins for sure. I lean towards Sanders as I think this could be blow out for the dirty birds.

PPR League. Which?

* R. Stevenson vs TN -- Tough matchup. He's questionable (along with D. Harris). That said, TN is banged up all over. Gamescript could favor NE here so he could get plenty of touches.

* A. Collins vs SF -- He only has D. Dallas to deal with this week, but who knows what happens here. Taken off the injury report.

* R. Burkhead vs NYJ -- Great matchup. Got 18 carries last week. Lyndsay gone. Yeah he went 18 for 40 last week, but this NYJ's run D is dreadful. Not a slam dunk he gets the touches over DJ though.

Which?

Thanks

Tough call for sure.  Collins is playing the redskins.  If the seattle offense can get going he is the play

I didn't think I was going to say it this season but Siriani has changed my mind. Hurts is the biggest TD vulture in the league but the Eagles truly seem committed to the run and Sanders is their best runner.  It's also a better matchup.

Sanders>Gaskin

One Of These Things (Is Not Like The Others)
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?
If you guessed Marquise Brown is not like the others,
Then you're absolutely...right!

Davis>Jones but really it's just blindly hoping for a big play from Davis so definitely go with your gut.
@Yenrub Corey Davis was downgraded to doubtful after I posted this.

M.Jones>Davis

For me

Jefferson>Bateman

Overall (if it's PPR) Hilliard>Jefferson>Rhamondre>Bateman>Ty Johnson

If it's standard

Rhamondre>Jefferson>Johnson/Bateman/Hilliard honestly have zero opinion which of those last three is more likely to find the end zone
@Gilroy34Apparently Stafford is dealing with back and elbow issues.

Bateman>V Jefferson

Ok --picked up Hilliard at NE. --  so in standard, I need one of Hilliard at NE, Collins at Wash or T. Higgins vs Pitt. -- If A. Jones is out, I'll need 2 --

Am I crazy for considering D Hilliard over Dav Smith? 0.5 PPR. No clue what Titans usage will be and Pats are playing really well. Feels like a 3-42-0 day for Smith though.

Pretty close to must win. Need to win 2 out of 3. Rest of lineup is solid with Lamar, Chubb, Ekeler, Jefferson, Kittle.
Since the Eagles committed to the run v the Lions Davonte's targets have declined a little to about six per game.  That is reason for concern but he has been deadly efficient in the last three with TDs in two of those three (three TDs total). He is averaging just over four catches for 81 yards. He's simply the better talent and has a much better chance of finding the end zone, Tenn could get shut out.

I have been riding the Hilliard bandwagon this week and I see a scenario where he gets a ton of dump off passes vs New England and their elite pass rush.  He got 10 targets last week, in a loss, so there is a small data point to support my belief.

This is a real coin toss for me so go with your gut.

Davonta>Hilliard

Non PPR, 10 yds=1pt. If Eli was healthy and usage know, this is a no brainer but......

Eli Mitchell vs MN

D. Hilliard vs NE

Kareem Hunt vs Bal
In standard league I like Hunt by a good margin over the other two.  Tenn has a good chance of not scoring, or scoring very little.  Mitchell isn't really a goal line guy. Hunt scores plenty, Cleveland wins through the running game and Baltimore D is vulnerable.

Hunt

Patterson - not sure if he is worth playing over the above 2 guys if they decide to play him.
We are all waiting for the rug to fall out from under Patterson and maybe it did with the injury.  But he was so darn good I don't see how you can't play him if Atlanta puts him on the field.

If Patterson doesn't play I like

Aiyuk>Bateman

Bateman has been getting more consistent looks but he doesn't see much action in the red zone.

I roll with upside here and Collins & Burkhead simply don't have any. Either could surprise but only under the broken clock principle.

Rhamondre has shown talent, he can catch, he plays on a strong offense and, on paper, New England should crush Tenn.

Rhamondre>>Burkhead>Collins

I like Hilliard only in PPR formats.

I am very down on Collins ATM

Higgins is the best talent on the best offense.

Higgins>>Collins>Hilliard

Assuming both end up being active.. PPR...

Aaron Jones (MCL Sprain)

Elijah Mitchel (Broken Finger)

I have Jeff Wilson to plug in if Mitchel can't go.

Meyers, Golliday or Shenault in half PPR?  Thanks!
Jakobi is the safe bet. He gets good volume and is seeing more action in the red zone.  That offense also seems to be getting stronger week-over-week.

Golladay is an interesting upside play this week with no Shepard, likely no Toney and talk from the coaching staff about getting him more looks.  But his floor is still what it is.

Shenault isn't even remotely an option IMO. Offense is way too sporadic.

I worry that the Pats may not need to throw a ton this week, but they can also use the short passing game to achieve the same effect as running out the clock.

Meyers>Golladay

But if you're looking for an explosive game and are willing to take the risk then go with Golladay.

PPR if A. Jones is active, need one. If Jones sits, then Dillon is the obvious choice.

A. Jones

Dillon

Hunt

5 pt ppr

Stevenson or Higbee at flex

Opponent is starting Stafford
Stevenson.

Higbee's usage is all over the map (2, 5, 8, 3, 10, 5 targets over the last five). Stafford is banged up and not playing as well as he was earlier in the season and OBJ should garner more looks this week.

Assuming both end up being active.. PPR...

Aaron Jones (MCL Sprain)

Elijah Mitchel (Broken Finger)

I have Jeff Wilson to plug in if Mitchel can't go.
If Jones starts, I start him no matter what.  The latest I saw from FBG was Jones is trending down.  Take that for what it's worth.

To me it suggests Mitchell, if only because you can plug in Wilson if he's a late scratch.

Asking for a friend who doesn’t have an account:

QB: tyrod or ben?
Ben is the safer play by a wide margin and last week showed that he can still sling it when he has to.

I guess Tyrod has some upside with rushing but he has also had negative fantasy points this year. I simply don't trust him despite the tasty matchup.

Ben>Tyrod

PPR if A. Jones is active, need one. If Jones sits, then Dillon is the obvious choice.

A. Jones

Dillon

Hunt
I don't put a lot of weight towards the possibility of in game injury when making these calls.  With that in mind if Jones plays, I play him.

After that

Hunt>Dillon

Luckily (or unluckily depending on your perspective) they all play in the later games.

Fournette or Patterson (PPR)?
Tough one.

This doesn't feel like a Fournette game and it's a tough matchup, but it is hard to argue that he has put up solid numbers in 6 of the last 7 games, and has a minimum of five targets per game over that span (high of 9).

Patterson was playing like a league winner before the injury but none of us know what to expect coming off that injury. After just saying I try not to put too much weight into potential in-game reinjury, it is rattling around the back of my brain with this one.

Cordarrelle practice reps improved this week from DNP on Wed to limited on Thu & Friday. He could be a decoy but...

Cordarrelle>Fournette (this call makes me very nervous so definitely go with your gut).

If it helps anyone.
Thanks.

Of course I saw a sleeperbot report this AM that Donta is in line for the majority of carries.  Both make enough sense to be true at the same time.

Hilliard starts and is the receiving back while they try to use Donta as the primary rusher.
