Week 13 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Anquan Boldin just pulled something in his left leg or hip -- no contact on the play but he just pulled up hopping on his right leg, then fell to the ground. A trainer assisted him to the sideline but he did not put any weight on his left leg.

You can talk about it here if you like. Injury thread is probably best though as everything is one place there.

Poor guy can't catch a break. When healthy he's one of the better WRs in the league, but it seems like his physical style of play wreaks havoc on his body. Did it look like a serious injury? A little sprain or are we talking McGahee status here?

Total speculation on my part, but I wouldn't be surprised if he missed significant time with this injury. Mainly from the look on his face, it seemed as if he knew he really hurt something.

I too saw the game and the play. It was the play before where he was taken down from behind that may have re-aggravated his hip injury. On the next play, Boldin lined up at the line and when he pushed off to start his route downfield, he came up lame like a track star pulling his hammy. He hopped on one leg for his next few steps of his route and then just fell to the ground. Definitely not good news, but it elevates Bryant Johnson, who is up to 6 rec for 56 yards and a TD so far with 8:40 to go.

Houston took a hit......

Texans | Kubiak says Weary will miss rest of season

Sun, 2 Dec 2007 16:04:03 -0800

Updating a previous report, The Associated Press reports Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said OG Fred Weary (leg) will miss the rest of the season after he suffered a broken leg Week 13.

Ward looked really good. I was hoping he was going to be a playoff player for me.
He already had an injured ankle ...i wonder if it was the same one ?
It was the left one he hurt today, not sure which one was hurt before. I saw the play and frankly, it didn't look severe, but that really doesn't mean much in terms of the "actual" severity of the injury. Walking to the locker room, I didn't notice him having an obvious limp. That should be good news.

Matt Schaub-QB- Texans Dec. 2 - 8:19 pm et

Matt Schaub suffered a dislocated left shoulder in Sunday's game and is uncertain to play in Week 14 against the Bucs.

It's promising that Schaub's injury is to his non-throwing shoulder, but that doesn't mean he isn't in a ton of pain. He'll almost certainly miss a good chunk of practice time. The Texans will update his status early this coming week. Sage Rosenfels will start versus Tampa Bay if Schaub can't.

anyone know what happened to LenDale?
Per rotoworld... LenDale White-RB- Titans Dec. 2 - 8:28 pm et LenDale White dislocated the middle finger on his right hand Sunday. The injury was originally reported as a shoulder. White did not return to the game Sunday and Chris Brown took over as the Titans' feature back in the final quarter. This is a concern for White, who has had problems with fumbling this season. He'd lost four through the first 12 games. Brown should be high on waiver wire priority lists this week.

LenDale White left with a shoulder injury
nooooooooooo. what happened? What's the word.
so has he been back on the field? Have they said anything about it?
any word on how bad white's injury is?...i have a chance to pick up brown :)
I saw him on the sideline and his finger looked dislocated. It was crooked. It happened to me in a flag football game a few weeks ago...I popped it back, but it is still sore. Not a super serious injury...I would guess he could miss a week, but be back after that.
I agree...they kept saying shoulder...but that sidline shot...his finger looked bad.It might have been dislocated...and I did not get a chance to rewind to see...but it almost looked like something was poking through the skin (please people...don't take it as gospel here...just caught a glance). While it may not be broken as I say above...it was at least dislocated...that or he already had some mangled looking finger.

When referring to injuries, could everyone please use first and last names and not just Smith, etc., and he.Thank you.
I think you're referring to the 10 or so posts about Anquan Boldin. There was another Boldin injury thread and it was merged with this one...thats probably what caused the confusion.

Latest on Boldin, per Rotoworld:

According to the Arizona Republic, Anquan Boldin suffered a dislocated toe in Sunday's win over the Browns. It's also being reported as a "leg injury" and a "hip injury" depending on which source you trust, but Boldin's hometown newspaper likely knows best. Whatever the case, Boldin appeared to suffer the injury while trying to get into a third-quarter route, pulling up lame before any contact and hopping off the field in obvious pain. With Larry Fitzgerald inactive Sunday because of a groin injury, Bryant Johnson may be the Cardinals' new No. 1 receiver.

THE NEWS

Starting in place of the injured Brandon Jacobs, Derrick Ward rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries Sunday (although he fumbled twice). However, he was forced to leave the game late in the fourth quarter after suffering a left ankle injury.

Our View

Ward left the stadium on crutches and is expected to undergo an MRI on Monday. If Ward is forced to miss some time, and Brandon Jacobs still isn't ready to return in Week 14, Reuben Droughns would get the start.

I just got home from work...I've had people in town. I've had no fantasy time the last 4 days and it's driven me nuts. I saw the red "X" next too McGahee on CBS Sportsline...

Any word on Willis...is he good to go tonight? Is the field sloppy?

Mcgahee looks good out there, and has had a few nice runs. I don't think he was injured, so i'm not sure what the red x is about.
