• Sitting Adams for Thielen would be insane, correct?
• Jakobi Meyers vs. Falcons, Devonta Smith vs. Steelers or Amari Cooper vs. Lions
• If KW3 and Hall are out, pick 2: Charbonnet vs. Packers, Braelon Allen vs. Jags or Pacheco vs. Browns

Absolutely. In my leagues they are QB 6 & 7 separated by five-ish points on the season. It's really a pick'em situation IMO. I probably lean Daniels because of the matchup and his running ability but it's very close.

I probably go with Jakobi because he has such a consistent target share. Devonta is great but he has been worryingly low volume at times. Six targets is nice but, I'll take 10, even from Desmond Ridder (O'Connell still may play btw). Amari is just as likely to see three targets as 10... probably moreso. Maybe, it's another track meet this week and he gets another 14, and he does have big game potential like few other WRs but, at this point I am skeptical trusting it.

Probably Charbonnet & Allen but I could easily bench either for Pacheco at this point.

QB is tough. I’d consider Darnold especially if I’m an underdog. I can see Daniels not having to do too much.
Sitting Adams for Thielen isn’t insane but definitely verges on getting cute. Adams has a great matchup. I’d stick with him.
Jesus the receiver question is tough. I would’ve said Meyers because he’s the clear number one but not with that quarterback. I think Smith gives you a better floor but Cooper a higher ceiling so I would make that decision based on your projection whether you’re an underdog or not.
Charbs 100%. And Pacheco but barely.

Based on your parameters I’d sit Taylor. I’d stick with Adams and Reed but could be talked into Mooney over Reed. Bowers.

I might sit Taylor for Brian Robinson. I think the Commanders may hammer the Saints. It's tough to sit Taylor but Richardson has been a real liability for him on so many levels. Even though it's not PPR I still start Brown because he gets usage in the passing game, unlike Taylor or Robinson. It makes him a little more dynamic and difficult to defend.

I could see sitting Reed, who is incredibly inconsistent, for Waddle who has had two very promising games in the last three outings. Those were both home games but Miami is still pushing hard to claim that last playoff spot and the Texans give up a lot of passing TDs (26 on the season (31st in the NFL).

I play Bowers over Kelce for sure.

Jeudy has been really good of late. I think he's still a top 20 play. I just prefer the others.

Brown and B Rob. Feels weird to type. I think that Denver will make that game ugly for Indy. Denver better against RB's. Denver probably wins that game and Indy plays from behind.
New Orleans is without Carr. I expect the backup QB to be a doo doo show. Washington likely leads early, and runs all game.

WR wise

Adams for sure, Jacksonville awful against the pass.
Reed has been low volume of late, but Mooney also pretty boom/bust. I think both have a low floor, Reed higher upside. I'm going Reed and holding my breath.

Bowers. Expect LV to play from behind and pass. Expect KC to lead vs Cle and lean on the run/defense. The offense just doesn't eat if it doesn't have to.

No honest idea between Gesicki and Strange but I like Burrow more than Mac Jones so I would go with Gesicki.

For QB, I really don't think it matters if your opponent has a WR for your QB or not. At the end of the day your QB needs to outscore his QB and your WRs need to outscore his WRs. Whether or not you start Nix won't change whether or not Sutton scores.

Personally I think I go with Nix. It just seems a lot more of the Bronco offense runs through Nix than the Cardinals offense runs through Murray.

* B. Hall @Jax -- Signs point to him playing. Let's assume he does. The matchup is there. A healthy Hall is a no brainer, but there's risk. Reinjury? Is it a RBBC? Ideally, there is some kind of positive coachspeak prior to kickoff.

* T. Tracy vs BALT -- Absolutely horrible matchup. Devito starting and I'm not sure he's a checkdown guy (which I need to look into). BALT could kill the clock big time leaving a bad NYGs offense with even fewer opportunities. All that said, Tracy is getting most of the touches and only needs one to break one.

* S. McCormick vs ATL -- He's their starting RB per Pierce. Abdullah will be mixed in. ATL D is mediocre at best. However, if Ridder is starting at QB the offense could be limited.

Which one?

Furthermore, who would you rank 2nd if Hall is actually inactive?

I'm sure you realize there isn't much to go on with these options. I lean towards Bateman because I think he has a better chance to hit a big play with Lamar. And Baltimore is just a much higher scoring offense than the Cardinals.

For the TE it depends on need v risk aversion. Kmet is just as likely to have zero targets as he is to have 10+. He has also demonstrated the ability to put up a monster every now and again. Fant is 4-5 targets for maybe 35-40 yards and not much upside.

In this scenario I'd personally go with Kmet.

I am a big fan of Goff but Hurts is a top four QB on the season and top four over the last six games (early season data can sometimes skew season long stats). Goff is top 12 ish and has a much lower floor. I understand playing the matchup but I don't usually do that when I am talking about a top 4 guy vs a top 12 guy.

Hurts.

I'd bench JSN personally because of his target floor but I can see the argument for Moore. No way I bench Monty or Tyreek.

Commanders defense by a good margin. I'm particularly interested in watching Lattimore in his return to New Orleans. I think this game looks like a rout.

I think Nabers is and McConkey are the odd men out.

Nabers will see 10 targets and McConkey will come close to that but so will Tee Higgins & Evans and they both have a lot more TD upside. Addison may not see the volume but he's on such a tear of late that I couldn't bench him for guys on weaker offenses.

If Hall plays I'd start him over your other options. I do like Tracy a lot but it's asking a lot of him against a stout run defense that is probably still very angry about the loss to Phili.

I also like McCormick and I think he is close to Hall in many respects. I also think he's getting a long audition for next year so, even if Mattison is back I think McCormick may be in the 15 opportunity range.

But neither Tracy nor McCormick is Breece Hall and, if we assume he plays they realistically can't touch Breece's upside.

I'd bench Hall without much hesitation. I love his talent and, if he plays he has a great matchup but that offense is simply not very good and it runs through Davante & Wilson more than anything.

With Pickens out I lean Freiermuth even in a very tough matchup. Kraft has a floor of zero. I like Otton too but I think he still has a lower floor than Muth.

Gotta sit hall. By the way I have the exact same three RBs. Sterling Sheppard has been banged up so that might help Otten. The pick up of Freiermuth might be a good play but I’d still lean Otten just slightly. Sorry but edited to add because I dint see you have Kraft. I’m actually using him over Otten in a league. He’s scored 4 oout if the last 6 games. But to Chaka’s point, his floor literally is zero. Also, wait to see if Musgrave is active. That might make me change my lineup.

I believe both of these defenses are a good play. The Commanders should feast on whoever the Saints play at QB. They simply don't have playmakers right now in the passing game. Kamara will get his 4 or 5 receptions, but I don't think it will matter. Tough decision between these two defenses this week.

Cousins for sure. He's been awful. But he's the most reliable option on that list. I'd gladly bench a QB in SF if the other options were better. You just don't have two good options to go over him IMO.

From there, I think it's between Schultz and Pierce. The TE Premium gives Schultz the best floor.
Pierce the best ceiling.

Either guy very capable of only getting 2 for 20.

I am in a PPR league and I have to pick 2 between Tracy, Stevenson and Mccormick. I am leaning sitting Tracy. If I were you I would start Hall if he was active and Mccormick if he is not.

Baltimore defense has only scored in double figures twice this year in my league, but the matchup is juicy.

Great matchups for each and I really think you can't go wrong. I lean towards the Commanders just because I think Lattimore is going to bring some extra juice to the defense this week.

But, really it's a coin toss.

If you had better options I might not go with Cousins but considering what you are looking it you, IMO, absolutely have to go with Cousins.

After that it's a coin toss but I may go with Tim Patrick mostly because he's on the highest scoring offense in the NFL.

-Been riding Tua for a couple weeks after finally realizing that CJ Stroud was just never going to hit 30+ all year
Waiver wire options at the moment

-Geno Smith vs GB at home on Sunday Night
-Kirk Cousins at Las Vegas...have you seen his stats the last 4 weeks? How could you trust him? ZERO TDs and 8 INT last 4 games and HALF of his season TD total vs BUCS in 2 games
-Russ Wilson at Philly...he's been 20+ minimum, 31-18-26-dud-18-37-21...he's been pretty good since he took over but I know Pitt has starters out this week

Why not Tua Tags? Texans are top 3-5 vs opposing QBs in FF and also they don't allow a lot of passing yds in general. I already need to start Tyreek Hill, want to spread the risk here
I'm looking at Geno and Russ, I need some reliable points this weekend to have a chance, it's possible Seattle and Green Bay get into a shootout
Kirk Cousins has a pretty easy match up
