Superflex, need two

Nix vs jets overseas
Bryce vs cowboys
Caleb at commanders
Rattler vs patriots
Flacco at packers

I was going nix and Caleb but the cowboys passing defense isn’t good so Bryce is intriguing.

Same league, PPR need 2
Brian Thomas vs Seahawks
DK vs Cleveland
Bill JCM vs bears

And one TE
Kincaid at falcons
Ertz vs bears
Theo Johnson vs eagles TNF

Was going Kincaid but Theo seems to be the best player for the giants right now.
Nix and Bryce
Brian and DK
Theo gonna get targets

0.5 PPR. Need help with my WR2.
  • Devonta Smith vs. Giants (TNF)
  • DJ Moore vs. Commanders
The likes of Doubs, Golden, Bourne are on the WW still.

PSA:

Just an FYI that I may not be making contributions in here this week. It's not that I don't love you all but, Mom broke her hip yesterday morning, it's all good, she had surgery and is on the mend, but I am going to be back and forth to the hospital and not sure if I can make time to do much more than small contributions. I'll try to get to as many as I can, as I am able.

Thanks to everyone for your contributions and keeping this thing going.

I'll start.

PPR and I need a flex

Kendre Miller @ NE
Hollywood Brown v Det

I think I need to start Hollywood because it's PPR and Miller may not consistently see 10-12 opportunities. But, Miller has looked very good in his opportunities.
I go Miller here. I actually trust his workload more than Brown's, and Kamara is dinged up.
PPR league and I need two flex players

Jakobi Meyers v Ten
Zay Flowers v LAR
JCM v Chi
Etienne v Sea

I keep going back and forth on these guys.

I don't think JCM is a mirage and he looks amazing (but everyone should keep Woody Marks in mind when thinking about JCM).

Etienne has a tough matchup (Seattle is 12 in rush attempts against but 3rd in yards yielded, 1st in rush TDs against and 2nd in Y/A against) but I know he's going to see at least 16 opportunities which, cannot be ignored and, he's a plus in the passing game who gets GL touches too (although they don't use him in the 2 minute offense).

Zay caught 5 of 5 targets for 72 yards from rush last week...

Hard to rely on any Raider at this point and, it's a good matchup on paper although Tennessee is a run funnel defense.

ATM I have JCM and Etienne in my lineup.
I think you have it right to go with the RBs here. Also, there is a lot of talk that the weather in Baltimore is gonna be really ugly.
Standard scoring, non-ppr league. I need to start two of these players:

Warren vs CLE - should be healthy after the bye week but may give carries away to Gainwell who had a monster game
Deebo vs CHI - If scary Terry returns, how much does that hurt him?
Q. Johnston vs MIA - Had an off week last game including a very costly fumble that started the comeback

Even though it's a non-ppr, I'm leaning both Deebo and Johnston as of today.

Also non-ppr league, who do I start at TE:
Kraft or Ferguson?

Thanks for your replies!
I think Deebo against the Bears is an autostart this week. I like Johnston more than Warren given the matchup, but is this the same league? If it is, I'm actually gonna argue starting Deebo and both TEs. If its not, then Ferguson over Kraft, just way more volume.
0.5 PPR

Pick 1 for flex:
Michael Carter at Indy
Zach Charbonnet at Jacksonville
Tucker Kraft vs Cincinnati

QB:
Darnold at Jacksonville
Nix overseas vs NYJ
Kraft would be my pick at flex. Best TD odds, and most catches. I like Nix over Darnold this week. Jets D can't stop anything.
FFPC scoring
Have to choose ONE of the following for a final flex:

T.Thorton vs Det

D. Mooney vs Buff

W. Robinson vs Phi
Timing sucks with a Thursday guy and a Monday guy. I think I'd go Robinson are play it safe.
12 team IDP PPR

Need to pick 1 flex between Jamo AT KC & Chase Brown AT GB

Mason & Addison are on the BYE. Feels like with Charlie Checkdown behind center in Cinci, Brown is the safe floor, while Jamo is the ceiling play.

Don’t know if it’s relevant, but Worthy might be dealing with the ankle. If I flex Brown, I’d then have Jamo to plug in if Worthy can’t go. If I go with Jamo, I’ll have no backup plan.
I think Brown is the easy call here. Its getting tough to justify Williams as even a top-40 WR right now. Maybe he blows up and hits a big play, but it feels just as likely he has 1 catch on 2 targets.
c.brown rb/cin @ gb
m.carter rb/ari @ ind
c.godwin wr/tb v sf
k.pitts te/atl v buf

PPR, pick 2, one must be a rb
I'd go Brown and Pitts. Not expecting Mooney to be playing for Atlanta, and I think Flacco is an upgrade (not to Burrow levels, but to at least competency) for the Bengals offense.
Jones vs. Arizona

Stafford @ Baltimore

:ponder:
I lean Stafford here against the corpse of a Ravens secondary. Jones has also stopped rushing these last 2 weeks, and I have some concerns that isn't just a variance thing.
Have to sit one. No PPR (just TD's and yardage points)....

Smith-Njigba @ JAC
Chase @ GB
Worthy vs DET
Odunze @ WAS

I think it has to be Worthy, right?
I feel wrong saying this, but just for this week, I think I'd sit Chase. Just the 1st week with Flacco, while Worthy is likely in a shootout. Still think Chase is your best WR going forward, but just this week, I'd sit him.
Start one WR in 0.5 ppr

Metcalf vs Cleveland (10th worst vs pass)
Pittman vs Arizona (20th)
AJ Brown @NYG (3rd)

Then at Flex, either Jacory .....Merritt vs Chicago (4th vs. run) or one of the two not selected at WR.

Right now I am having trouble putting AJ Brown on the bench but it's possible I am an Eagles fan and not looking at things clearly. Also JCM is a wildcard at the moment.

Which WR and Flex would you start.
I'd go with AJ and JCM. Brown feels VERY due, and is likely embarrassed about giving up on a long TD pass. These are also the 2 with the best matchups.
No PPR… Pick two WRs to start:

AJ Brown @NYG
Q. Johnston @Miami
Z. Flowers vs. LAR

Thanks.
Brown and Johnston. Just a huge QB/matchup edge.
Superflex Half PPR Dynasty with TE Bonus.

Pick 2 QBs (one starter one superflex)
-Matthew Stafford @ Baltimore
-Dak Prescott @ Carolina
-Jordan Love vs Cincinnati

Pick one for FLEX:
- De'Andre Swift @ Washington
- Michael Carter @ Indy
-AJ Barner @ Jacksonville
-Harold Fanin @ Pittsburgh

Thanks y'all!
Dak and Love at QB. Great matchups, and there are weather concerns in Baltimore.

Even though I don't really like him, I think Swift is the call here, he's just got such a safer role.
Bonus:
12 team PPR Flex: Kendrick Bourne, Jameson Williams, or Chase Brown?
😬
Checkdown Chase
Superflex, need two

Nix vs jets overseas
Bryce vs cowboys
Caleb at commanders
Rattler vs patriots
Flacco at packers

I was going nix and Caleb but the cowboys passing defense isn’t good so Bryce is intriguing.

Same league, PPR need 2
Brian Thomas vs Seahawks
DK vs Cleveland
Bill JCM vs bears

And one TE
Kincaid at falcons
Ertz vs bears
Theo Johnson vs eagles TNF

Was going Kincaid but Theo seems to be the best player for the giants right now.
Caleb and Nix seem like the clear QB options to me. Even with the best QB matchup, I can't trust Young over those guys.

I'd go JCM and Thomas, as they have better matchups.

I'd keep rolling with Kincaid. I certainly have some concerns Theo is TD chasing in a way that Kincaid isn't.

PPR 2RB 2WR 1TE 1FX

C Brown @ GB
Pollard @ LV
Dowdle vs DAL
Warren vs CLV

JSN @ JAX
ASB @ KC
D Adams @ BAL
K Allen @ MIA

Ferguson vs CAR
Warren vs ARZ
Gotta keep rolling with Dowdle in a revenge game. I slightly prefer Pollard over Brown/Warren in the 2nd spot, just has the best matchup.

ARSB and JSN never see the bench in my opinion.

Ferguson is TE1 when Lamb is out, Warren is a really tough sit (and probably will be your #1 when Lamb is back) but for this week he's a sit.

I could see going 2-TEs given who they are, but I feel wrong leaving Adams on the bench against a secondary being held together by duct tape and prayer.
Here's one:
FFPC scoring:

Need TWO running backs:

C.Hubbard vs Dall(if starting)

J.Warren vs Cleve(just back from injury)

R.Dowdle vs Dall(obvious choice if Hubbard is out)

H.Haskins @ Mia(great matchup but how many touches?)

Opinions,thoughts and prayers welcome
Dowdle and Warren. Not much interest in Chargers RB room, where its likely TD or nothing.
PPR flex, need one

Vidal at Miami
Tracy v Philly
Golden v Cincy
I'd go with Golden (Bengals DC) being unable to stop Golden (Packers WR)
0.5 PPR. Need help with my WR2.
  • Devonta Smith vs. Giants (TNF)
  • DJ Moore vs. Commanders
The likes of Doubs, Golden, Bourne are on the WW still.
I think DeVonta is the start here. Best player, and arguably best matchup.

I think Brown is the easy call here. Its getting tough to justify Williams as even a top-40 WR right now. Maybe he blows up and hits a big play, but it feels just as likely he has 1 catch on 2 targets.
Thanks. I have Brown in my flex spot at the moment and Jamo on the bench. It also adds a little Insurance because I also have Worthy and ARSB, so if either of them can’t go, I have a back up plan for my WR spot.

6 Point Passing TD
Drake Maye at Saints
Dak Prescott at Panthers
Much as I like Maye this year, Dak has been way too productive to bench him. Plus the Dallas D kinda stinks and the Panthers should be able to put up some points. I'm not as confident the Saints/Pats will be a shootout.
Full PPR
Romeo Doubs vs Bengals
Kendrick Bourne at Buccaneers

TIA!
I like Bourne here. Pearsall didn't practice today, and my bet is he misses another week. Jennings might be active, but I still like Bourne with Mac starting. Doubs tends to score in bunches and he's inconsistent week to week. I'm also not sure the Bengals will score enough against the Bengals to warrant Love chucking the ball around - IMO this is a Jacobs-centric game.

As always I could be wrong.

Standard scoring, non-ppr league. I need to start two of these players:

Warren vs CLE - should be healthy after the bye week but may give carries away to Gainwell who had a monster game
Deebo vs CHI - If scary Terry returns, how much does that hurt him?

Even though it's a non-ppr, I'm leaning both Deebo and Johnston as of today.

Also non-ppr league, who do I start at TE:
Kraft or Ferguson?

Thanks for your replies!
You have to like how much volume Warren saw his last two games but, Cleveland is a tough matchup while your other two guys have amazing matchups IMO and, they also find the end zone with more regularity.

Deebo>Quentin>Warren

I'm sticking with Ferguson at least until CeeDee gets back. He's less likely to be an afterthought in the offense than Kraft.

Ferguson>Kraft

I hope a quick trade question is ok, if not, understood. Received this offer last night and it's pretty benign but totally confusing. My RB group is not good:

KW3, /Judkins, Dowdle, Charbonnet. Yeah, I prioritized all other positions clearly. Anyway, the offer is

Hubbard for Charbonnet. So I lose my backup to KW3 and gain the whole Panthers backfield. Not sure what he gains, other than maybe he thinks the Panthers back field is going to be a headache moving forward. Thoughts?

Thanks
I think you're good either way on this one. On it's surface I think I like Seattle more than Carolina but, it's close enough that if you prefer the other side, go for it.

Superflex league. 4 points per TD pass. Pick 2 of these QBs to start:

* S. Darnold @Jax -- Darnold quietly is one of the best QBs in the league. I believe JAX is much tougher on the ground and is a bit of a pass funnel.

* B. Young vs DAL -- Great matchup, but is he to be trusted? Could lean on Rico/Hubbard here, but he should have opportunities.

* M. Jones @TB -- Looks like Purdy is going to be out again. Jones a little gimpy himself and coming off his best game of his career. Pearsall trending out, Jennings trending in. TB also a pass funnel. Sneaky high scorer? Or does Mac come back down to earth?

Which 2?

Thanks

0.5 PPR

Pick 1 for flex:
Michael Carter at Indy
Zach Charbonnet at Jacksonville
Tucker Kraft vs Cincinnati

QB:
Darnold at Jacksonville
Nix overseas vs NYJ
I think Carter just for the volume. And Jacksonville has been a pass funnel defense so far this season. The Packer/Bengal game could easily be a Josh Jacobs showcase.

I think I believe in Darnold at this point and teams pass a ton against the Jaguars, they're 31st in pass att against. The Seahawks, otoh, are 31st in pass attempts but, somehow 5th in passing yards. Darnold leads the league with a crazy 9.3 y/a. They're also 5th in points scored. I think psychologically it's tough to start him over Nix but, the Broncos seem more balanced and methodical in their approach and aren't asking Nix to play hero ball...

Darnold>Nix

But it is very close.

FFPC scoring
Have to choose ONE of the following for a final flex:

T.Thorton vs Det

D. Mooney vs Buff

W. Robinson vs Phi
Mooney has a hamstring and is missing practices. Wan'Dale has a great opportunity in a last man standing way, he's probably the safe play. Thornton is playing like you hope Jameson Williams would. Low volume but, lots of big plays.

It's a floor/ceiling debate. I'm generally a ceiling guy.

Thornton>Wan'Dale

12 team IDP PPR

I think this is the answer unless you have a comparable backup plan if you bench Brown and Worthy is a late scratch.

Brown>Jamo*

*If you didn't have the Worthy consideration you know I would go Jamo>Brown

c.brown rb/cin @ gb
m.carter rb/ari @ ind
c.godwin wr/tb v sf
k.pitts te/atl v buf

PPR, pick 2, one must be a rb
Carter got a lot of volume but, didn't do much with it. He salvaged his day with a TD. Indy doesn't give up a lot of rushing TDs (2 on the season).

Then again Brown has been terrible so far this year. Is Flacco really going to change that? Probably a bit, he will definitely get rid of the ball quicker but, I'm not sure how much it helps Brown. He wasn't good in Burrow's start and a half.

It's a coin toss man but I lean

Carter>Brown

For the flex I almost certainly go with Godwin. He just seems to have the best floor ceiling combo. I think Pitts is a safe(ish) bet for something like 5-70-0.3 but, I don't see him getting 10 targets like Godwin can.

Godwin>Pitts

Overall, because one has to be a RB

Godwin>Carter>Pitts>Brown

ETA: @tkrull2.0 just read that Godwin is trending out this week.

Carter>Pitts>Brown

Jones vs. Arizona

Stafford @ Baltimore

:ponder:
I think this week it's Stafford, who is leading the league in passing yards, against that Baltimore defense. Particularly because Jones doesn't seem to be running the ball very much.

But, pay attention to the weather, there is a good chance of rain. If it looks ugly on Sunday I would pivot.

Stafford>D.Jones

Have to sit one. No PPR (just TD's and yardage points)....

Smith-Njigba @ JAC
Chase @ GB
Worthy vs DET
Odunze @ WAS

I think it has to be Worthy, right?
In a vacuum, I might sit Chase. The Chiefs are a pass first, pass second, pass third offense with an opponent who will likely put up 30 points or so and Jake Browning just put up 250-3 against them. If he's healthy I think Worthy may see more quality opportunities (probably not more overall).

But, Worthy was DNP today with an ankle so, unless there is some kind of miracle I think you're right.

JSN>Odunze>Chase>Worthy

Start one WR in 0.5 ppr

Metcalf vs Cleveland (10th worst vs pass)
Pittman vs Arizona (20th)
AJ Brown @NYG (3rd)

Then at Flex, either Jacory .....Merritt vs Chicago (4th vs. run) or one of the two not selected at WR.

Right now I am having trouble putting AJ Brown on the bench but it's possible I am an Eagles fan and not looking at things clearly. Also JCM is a wildcard at the moment.

Which WR and Flex would you start.
I'm starting AJ personally. Part of that is ride-or-die thinking but, part is it's just the better matchup and he's the better player.

AJ>Pittman>DK

For your flex, I think I roll with JCM. It's a great matchup & Chris Rodriguez was DNP today. Things really seem to be aligning for JCM this week (so, of course he'll get six carries for four yards). This doesn't feel like a Woody Marks situation to me.

JCM>Pittman>Metcalf

-Harold Fanin @ Pittsburgh

Thanks y'all!
I think you have to pay attention to weather, particularly wind, in Baltimore. Looks like rain for sure which, does not concern me but wind can be a problem.

Stafford>Dak>Love

Unless it's a TE premium league I don't get the Fannin hype. Barner at least is finding the end zone consistently, I could see giving him a dart throw. In this situation I lean to volume and that's Swift & Carter IMO. I think Carter has a worse matchup so

Swift>Barner>Carter>Fannin

Bonus:
12 team PPR Flex: Kendrick Bourne, Jameson Williams, or Chase Brown?
😬
Since it looks like Purdy is going to miss another game and Pearsall will be limited, at best.

Mac Jones is apparently a fantasy WR whisperer.

I understand the logic of maybe Bryce (Flacco and Rattler not so much) but Nix and Caleb seem like the obvious options to me.

Caleb>Nix>Young>Flacco>Rattler
==================================

Seattle's D still looks beat to heck. If Witherspoon, Lawrence & Reed are all out again I think you have to strongly consider BTJ. He's is still the clear #1 WR on the team and Brenton Strange (#2 in targets on the team) is on IR. BTJ has been a disappointment but he's on the field for 90% of the offensive snaps (Travis Hunter is next at 45%, although I think he plays more this week with Strange out) and, he still has so much upside.

I am also high on JCM this week. Particularly as Chris Rodriguez was DNP today. The Bears are a great matchup too. He comes with a lot of risk but, he's running crazy good and I think he has a shot at a 20 touch game.

DK has a TD in 3 straight but he has 7, 6, 4 & 5 targets so far this season. WTH? And, it's a tough matchup.

JCM>BTJ>DK
====================================

Kincaid has either 100 yards or a TD in 4 of 5 games. I think he is almost the lead pass catcher in Buffalo ATM and it's a good matchup. It's close between Theo and Ertz but, IMO the Eagles are not the Saints and even without Slayton, I am hesitant to trust Theo over Kincaid.

Kincaid>Theo>Ertz

Ferguson vs CAR
Warren vs ARZ
It depends on Chuba of course but, he was DNP today so I think he may not play this week. I might be inclined to go with Warren but, the Raiders have a way of turning opposing players into all-pros. I'll take Pollards 17 touches against the Raiders and let the chips fall where they may.

Dowdle*>Pollard>Warren>Brown

I don't bench JSN or ARSB. I just don't at this point. I like Allen over Davante just because of the weather.

PPR flex, need one

Vidal at Miami
Tracy v Philly
Golden v Cincy
Shocked Tracy is back so soon. The Eagles run D hasn't been great either.

Bottom line is you have a lot of guesses here and no path to clarity. If there is one of these guys that you would truly enjoy watching, that's who I would start. For me, the Bengals defense isn't good and that's probably where I lean. I also have no idea what to expect from Vidal, even if it is a great matchup.

The likes of Doubs, Golden, Bourne are on the WW still.
If Pearsall is out I kinda like Bourne. Mac Jones makes #1 WRs. But you have a player to consider tonight which, complicates things.

This Eagles offense is a PITA to figure out. They should handle the Giants and that may lead this to be a Barkley game. But, I really have no idea.

I think I risk it with Moore and, if Pearsall is out I pivot to Bourne. But that's a wild @@@ guess

DJ/Bourne>DeVonta

I'll take Dak in a plus matchup pretty easily.

Dak>Maye
=================================

I lean towards Bourne because it looks like Pearsall is, at best limited and Purdy is trending out. Mac Jones apparently knows how to lock in on one WR. And Doubs could have 2 targets just as easily as he could have 8. That Packer offense is all over the map.

Bourne>Doubs

Flex
Robinson TNF vs Eagles or Flournoy vs Panthers Sunday?

TIA
I'm having trouble believing Ryan Flournoy is a thing. I can't start him after one outlier game.

Wan'Dale has very little competition for targets at this point.

Which 2?

Thanks
I start Darnold for sure. I still wait for it all to collapse with him but, he's playing even better than he did in Minnesota. Plus the defense is still banged up so they may need to pass more again.

I can see Jones or Young. I guess it depends on your preference. I keep waffling between them. I guess I probably go with Jones because I feel the Niners are still a better team overall but, no arguments going with Young.

Darnold>Jones>Young

Thanks. Kincaid is banged up but having Ertz as a last minute potential replacement helps that concern.

Baker vs SF, or Caleb at WAS on MNF?

Baker has been locked and loaded all week. It’s unlikely I’ll bench him, especially after my opponent just probably blew it benching Hurts last second, but curious to hear y’all’s thoughts.

Their metrics are very similar but Mayfield edges Caleb by a little, pretty much across the board. Even rush yards although, Mayfield has tapered off since he got dinged up a few weeks ago.

Ultimately, I think Caleb's numbers are propped up by that Dallas game and he probably has a lower floor and similar ceiling.

The matchups are similar enough too. The Commanders will likely put more pressure on the Bears to keep pace but, is that enough of an incentive?

It's close and I may flip flop but,

Mayfield>Caleb

Caleb Williams @ WAS
Sam Darnold @ JAC

Currently have Darnold in against the pass funnel Jags D. The Seahawks D is also really banged up, although the Bears D is just bad so far, so that's probably a push.
