-Deanrius Moore, is he a WR1/2 at this point? Seems like he is developing chemistry and consistency.

-Can Miami actually make a playoff push?

-How impressive is Weeden with no true weapons or established weapons around him?

-Are the Jets going to make a QB change?

-How is Cam Newton feeling tonight? How is Ron Rivera feeling tonight?

-Is Norv Turner going to make it until the end of the season?

-Philly was the "Dream Team" last August...14 months later and you would name them what now?

-Can Indy actually make a playoff push?

-Is Chicago a Super Bowl contender?

-Can Green Bay win for long without both Jennings and Nelson?

-If Dallas doesn't make the playoffs, will the GM survive there?

-Jamaal Charles was not fed the ball against Oakland, why exactly???

-When is Atlanta going to lose their 1st game?

Feel free to answer these and post up your own.

This thread has gone over a lot of heads so far. Looks like most your questions are non-fantasy based.

The Bears are absolutely a super bowl CONTENDER. A defense like ours will definitely keep us in the picture. Wonder what the record is for defensive tds in a season.

You do realize that the Cowboys GM is Jerry Jones right? I don't think he is going anywhere
:sarcasm:
Yeah ok. I guess I don't get your poor attempt at humor
It's first on the list of things that must happen in for Dallas to get things turned around IMO. It will never happen of course, kind of a conundrum.
yeah, someone's backtracking. it's ok, I make mistakes too.Jerry has won super bowls

I would think it has more to do wih Romo's poor decision making, and the lack of a running game. The fact that Witten has 18 catches tells quite a bit. Tells me that Austin and Bryant are having a hard time with the Giants banged up secondary. All of this added up equals a loss.

 There is a complaints and grievances thread, I wanted some real football mixed in, expected a few whoahies me posts but want to talk NFL. I hope that's OK.

I definitely know JJ was the GM, it was a subtle or not so subtle joke. It's fine, my humor is not everyone's taste. I've written threads about JJ and how he should step down, it's actually an ongoing joke between myself and a few of the original Dallas fans/posters. I'm sure some of them will be along and have a little laugh at it. It's Ok if it went over some of your alls heads.

I call them 11-15 in their last 26 games.Who starts for the Eagles week 9 on MNF in New Orleans? Keep in mind Reid almost benched Vick over the bye.

Huber, let's discuss those 18 catches...I don't think that is a good thing. I know Witten is a popular guy but nothing happens after he catches the ball. Granted he catches the bal and that is important but Dallas seems to be lacking a WR3 who can take some of that workload off Witten and make some plays to open up the offense even more. I'm not sure anyone will agree with that but I feel Witten is not he downside of his career and just because eh catches the football does not make him a spectacular option.

I'm not close to this situation, so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this. How can a coach, who is clearly on the hot seat, go to a third round draft pick, rookie quarterback? It seems to me that instead of going to a dink and dunk game plan today to limit turnovers against one of the best offensive teams in the league, you would instead cut Vick lose and hope to God he works out of his funk.

-Deanrius Moore, is he a WR1/2 at this point? Moore is a wr2 going forward with the upside of a wr1Yes but they have to win all the games that are winnable, I don't think they can beat the Pats or the 49ers. This would give them 10 winsHe is very good, I am not sure if it is because he is 29 or not but if he gets weapons that can hold onto the ball look out.Why bother at this point Cam still feels like it isn't his fault, his dad took the fall for him at Auburn. He probably has been pampered his whole life and told how good he is and when something didn't go his way it was never his fault. Riveria probably wishes he could do something more.Norv shouldn't have made to 2011The Mccoy's because he is the only one that seems to do well on the team.No the Colts can't too many rookies on that team that will make mistakes. No because they can avoid Green Bay or New York or Atlanta but there is no way to avoid all 3 and they have no chance against Green Bay or New York and a slim chance against Atlanta.Yes they can during the regular season, in the playoffs no.Yes but Romo, Garrett, Bryant, should all be traded or let go.I am not sure but the only reason I would think is because the Chiefs understand they are going no where this year and there is no point in getting their franchise back killed after he just come back from an ACL injury.Week 10 at the Saints if they survive that then I think week 15 against the Giants.

Because his hand-picked $100mil QB is 11-15 in his last 26 games and the coach is playing for his job. But I agree, they should stay with Vick until they're out of contention. Already fired a coordinator, starting a rookie at QB is desperation, imo. But all indications are there's a real chance Foles starts soon.

AtD, don't you think Reid would be unemployed for about 2 minutes?

That's more to my point. I would think Reid would have his pick of jobs this off season. Why would he go to a rookie now? I would think he'd go down with the ship. There's bigger problems on that team. They can't stop anyone.

Here are a few of mine

When does Alex Green stop getting 20 + carries?

Is Dwayne Allen the tight end to own for the Colts going forward?

Will Dwayne Bowe or anyone get traded? If yes who?

Will A.J. Green's schedule make him not finish as a top 5 wr?

Who is the first starting quarterback that will lose his job because of his performance not an injury?

Who will be the first coach fired?

Can the Steelers catch the Ravens for the division?

Will the Saints finish above .500?

How many games will the Texans win their division by?

Not if he didn't want to be. He may decide to take a year off. The last few years have been very draining for him. Remember he had 2 sons arrested on the same day (different offenses, separate incidents) and just a few months ago buried one of them. He may need time off.But let me address the point you're alluding to; that Reid is a top coach in the NFL.

His success was mainly from 2001-2004. Since then he's very average. He's on his 3rd DC since the death of Jim Johnson. His prime years were a long time ago - a different NFL. I'd even say he was on the leading edge of the current pass-happy league. But the league is different now and the numbers say he's far less successful now. Since they lost the SB following '04, the Eagles have 3 playoff wins - and 2 of them came in the same year ('08) and none since. We are now 8 years removed from the lone SB appearance and the team is in decline. Yeah, most years they have 10/11 wins but that's not the goal. Not after 14 years. Its time for him to rise up to elite status once more or move on. It's looking more like move on.

And that's the owner talking - not the fans. Lurie's the one who said "substantial improvement" was necessary.

And every decision - from the players to the coaches - is Reid's. Every one. Bad choices in coaches, bad player signings.

Here are a few of mine

When does Alex Green stop getting 20 + carries?

When Benson comes back or they trade for Sjax/DWill

Is Dwayne Allen the tight end to own for the Colts going forward? 50/50

Will Dwayne Bowe or anyone get traded? If yes who? Not sure, trades with big names are rare in the NFL midseason.

Will A.J. Green's schedule make him not finish as a top 5 wr? He's too talented, he will bounce back

Who is the first starting quarterback that will lose his job because of his performance not an injury? Mark Sanchez

Who will be the first coach fired? Ron Rivera, Norv Turner

Can the Steelers catch the Ravens for the division? Yes

Will the Saints finish above .500? No

How many games will the Texans win their division by? 3

I would think it has more to do wih Romo's poor decision making, and the lack of a running game. The fact that Witten has 18 catches tells quite a bit. Tells me that Austin and Bryant are having a hard time with the Giants banged up secondary. All of this added up equals a loss.
Huber, let's discuss those 18 catches...I don't think that is a good thing. I know Witten is a popular guy but nothing happens after he catches the ball. Lets not discuss it because your condescending attitude sucks. If you want to be funny go do it in the FFA. I can't believe anyone has ever wanted you to be a part of this staff. Most of the time I enjoy reading what you have to say in here, this time not so much. If you must discuss it with me, I was referring to the fact that the Dallas WR's were having a hard time getting separation from the Giants banged up secondary, was the reason why Witten had so many catches. So we agree that it is not a good thing for Dallas.

Really, your whole opinion of me was changed on a dime, gimme a break. I posted a little joke, I told you immediately it was sarcasm and it sure wasn't intended to show anyone up and you continue to bash and keep ramming the whole staff thing...dude that is so 10 years ago. Do you think the staff get paid much if at all? I couldn't afford to be a staff member, many of them don't even post in the Shark Pool because folks get so bent out of shape the way you did. Whatever, best of luck to you, sorry you took the Jerry Jones-GM/Owner to such heart. Try a search, I've done threads on it, most know JJ is the GM. Great he won Super Bowls 20 years ago with Jimmy Johnson coaching and irritated him so much he quit after winning back to back Super Bowls.

My opinion has not changed of you. I think for the most part you are a good poster here. I just wish you would have manned up and said you made a mistake with the post, rather than brushing it off as a bad joke. I mentioned the staff thing because honesty is what people want. Did I go too far as to call it out, probably yes. For that I apologize. But please don't insult the intelligence of people because there are some really great posters here and some really bad ones.

-How impressive is Weeden with no true weapons or established weapons around him?-Philly was the "Dream Team" last August...14 months later and you would name them what now?-Is Chicago a Super Bowl contender?
I'll take these three:Weeden - Trent Richardson is pretty good - and G. Little was a 2nd round draft pick. And in most FF leagues Weeden isn't even in the top 20. So, not really all that impressive. Decent? Sure - especially for a rookie, but his passer rating is abysmal. Philly? Since, it's getting cold out - "The Steam Team"...like when a dog takes a dump.Chicago?

As a Lions fan, my biggest question is which Lions team will finish out the season. Will it be the one that looked great against a strong Defense last night or will it be the anemic offense that started the season?

Question is, can antonio gates actually get any fatter & slower than he is right now or be more useless. Answer yes, yes & yes.

And your point? Mike Williams was a first round pick in Detroit so was Charles Rodgers, Troy Williamson for 400 Alex! Greg Little sucks and doesn't count as a weapon.

I think Jags on the road this week will answer at least how much their heads are into this season. If they look like crap against a team they should beat when they need every win they can scrape up you can pull the plug on them.

They need to get to 10 wins so they have to win 7 out of their last 9 with games against Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, and 2 against Green Bay. Say good night. So lets say they beat Arizona, Indy, Minnesota and Jacksonville. Tell me the 3 games they are getting in those other 5, you can't

Shades of Wayne fontes.

How about will Schwatz have a job as Lions HC in 2013? I would hope not - he's a punk and he's fostering a punk attitude.
