Weekly Waiver Wire Pick Ups - **CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK** Week 17 starts on Page 30 (1 Viewer)

I would rather use the roster spot for a backup RB with more upside in the event the starter goes down.
yeah, kicking myself for not having Dillon as a Jones owner.  Other than that, I have Eno, could get Hubbard (have McC) -- other waiver RB's : Jets Johnson and Coleman, Brieda (have Singletary), McKissick, Scott, Murray, J. Williams and Drake -- as someone else posted  :tumbleweed:

Here’s something that may surprise you.  Over the last three weeks, Trevor Seimeon has amassed the 4th highest point total at qb, over the likes of Josh Allen, Dak Prescott, and Pat Mahomes.  Yes, a lot of his points have come in garbage time, but those points count the same.  Their will probably be a lot of garbage time against a pissed off Buffalo team this week.

Not saying you should start him or even pick him up in a one qb league, but he has led a surprising three week win streak for me, and I’ll be rolling with him again this week.

Jeesh...that seems steep. Low probability pay off, but if it pays off it will big.

Right now thinking maybe he's a little off the radar and could spend less. I could be proved wrong if every single fantasy site has him as the #1 target tmrw morning.
Low payoff. 3 way time share and they don't run much. Maybe if both the others get hurt.

AP was just released, so Foreman and/or Hilliard. I’m sure Foreman is on a lot of rosters,  but doubt Hilliard is.
I'd think McNichols would clear though? Or soon enough?

He's running into the NE D anyway this week. Then after this week, it's a three headed monster...again.

Fair point - seems like McNichols was kind of out of the rotation, but maybe it was just injury-related.

Agnew out for the year. Do we pick shenault back up?
He's back into consideration talk again lol. Not ready to come after him with any FAB money. There always seems to be 4-6 WR's like Shenault still available. I'm passing unless he goes unclaimed, then maybe worth a shot.

Actually, the heck with this situation.

McNIchols could clear.

NE D this week.

Then a bye week.

There will be a new shiny penny next week. I'm done with this backfield.

Pick up if you got space and cut him Saturday - unless you got a better move to make - but somebody needs a healthy RB so you wil probably be out bid

In need of a RB due to injuries/byes in half PPR - last week's fliers didn't work lol.  Availables include (by my favs) - Burkhead (@Jets)>Hilliard (@NE)>Bolden (Ten)>Brieda (NO).  It's dusty and dry out there folks.

With Joe Flacco at the helm, a steady if unspectacular , capable yet boring QB, we're going to be hearing a LOT about Elijah Moore from now till the end of the season. he looks electric. apologies to the fans of Kadarius Toney who thought he was the electric boogey man in NY - that person is Moore.

I think you trade for him or get him with every penny you have in your free agent grab bag. bet the farm that he's another top producing DeAndre Hopkins going forward. Devante Adams at his best. The Jets' savior has arrived.

Except isn't Wilson starting the rest of the year?  At least he is this week.  I doubt they bench him if he's healthy.

Idk. He doesn't have the size to be that type of a receiver. Hopkins is 6'1", 210+ lbs.   Adams is 6'1", 215+. Hopkins has prob the best hands in the league for years.  Moore is only 5'10" and under 180lbs.

What Moore has is speed over those two, but speed alone isn't going to translate to fantasy production. Neither Flacco or Wilson are going to extend plays like Rodgers or Murray. I think Moore's points are more likely from garbage time points more than offensive scheme and playmaking ability.

FYI, I like his talent, I just don't like his surroundings.

Landed Lindsay  - which many will scoff at - but it's a 3-4 window and I will cut him on the weekend if nothing works out.

There's just too many great landing spots for him - to name a few:  Bills, Ravens, Titans, Saints, Seahawks

He's a major FAAB is he lands at one of those

The comp for Elijah Moore that some are using is a faster Antonio Brown. That might be over the top but his route running and knowledge of zones seems to be good based on the games I've seen, including the Miami game. I'm a believer in LaFleur. The big question is Wilson. Maybe he learned something on the sidelines watching the other 3 QBs.

Quiet week. Only one use of FAAB on a skill position player in two of my leagues (2% for Ronald Jones, 1% for Arnold by me as a Kelce owner), last one had some minor churn, eg 6% Burkhead, 4% Cedric Wilson, 3% Coleman.

I just don’t see it

Couple of bigger name WRs just hit my wire this morning -- K. Golloday and J. Jones.

They may be more names than anything at this point, but I wonder with the firing of Garrett in NY energizes that offense at all? Maybe Golloday can put something together down the stretch.

Julio still on IR and banged up, but ditto. That offense will need playmakers if TN is to do anything.

Need a one week WR and watching CeeDee Lamb status closely as I debate making Ced Wilson the pickup.  If not I think I take a shot in the dark on Marquise Goodwin with Allen Robinson likely out again.

Not great.

In a similar boat in my PPR league. Best option on my roster is Golladay, and Freddie Kitchens isn't exactly restoring my trust in that offense. On the WW, couldn't decide between Wilson and Freeman, so I picked up both and will monitor Lamb's status. I'm just not sure Wilson is the slam dunk people seem to think he is. Dallas' offense hasn't been high-powered enough to guarantee production from the WR2.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb will practice today, coach Mike McCarthy said. This is a critical step in order for Lamb to be eligible to play Thursday vs. Raiders. Team believes he can, presuming he continues to progress without setback, McCarthy said.

Hard to see how Wilson is worth a roster spot with this news. I think I'll probably just do a speculative stash of Taysom Hill and hope that Siemian craps the bed on Thursday.

I'm not saying I see it either - but if it happens it may will be the pick up of the week.  And the downside is I rostered him for 3-4 days.  Low risk - high reward.
if you google lindsay news, there’s at least a hal dozen beat writers arguing the local team should grab him.  Teams I saw mentioned -

Miami, Ravens, Seattle, bills - great spots

atlanta, chargers, Dallas - not good

l actually think the jags grab him

Who is the better stash for the playoffs? Breida or Burkhead?

Breida obviously in a better offense, but HOU's schedule looks more favorable.
I can’t get behind any Texans RB for league winning upside. Breida probably has more upside but I don’t see Singletary and Moss going away entirely.

I guess we will see

He’s a dolphin

In one particular league, I have a bye already clinched. I'm looking ahead here. Maybe it's possible that in three weeks Breida has emerged. Lottery ticket for sure.

All I know is that if I were in charge of BUF I'd do something with that running game and Moss and Singletary have now crapped the bed for 2 years. Try something else.
I mean, there's no downside in your situation so that's cool. I don't think they want someone to emerge. I think they want two backs who play about half the time, and a (sometimes) running QB.

I think Breida could become one of those RBs, but not THE RB. But we'll see.

Good call.  RBBC may suck for FF, but it isn't always bad IRL.

They way Breida is running/receiving, he may not need a full load to be very productive.
