What are you expecting from Cotchery? (1 Viewer)

I see Cotch is getting a lot of love this week. Do you guys really expect top 10 numbers from him against Washington with no Coles? I would imagine Washington comes out fired up and confuses the crap out of Clemens. I was looking at what WRs have done to Washington prior to last week and I just don't see Cotchery with top 5-10 numbers...Help me see the light

He's a solid play. I'm more curious to see Brad Smith though. Could be his first start.

I agree - a few people here and there have mentioned McCariens but the Jets insiders I have read have mentioned he's till well ensconced in Mangini's kennel.I think Smith could do pretty well - tho how well, I dunno vs WAS.On subject, I expect solid #s in PPR for Cotchery - he'll get enough looks.

I honestly think the Jets will keep the ball on the ground as long as they can. I expect his usual numbers and I don't see that much of a jump in production. I expect McCareins to get more looks than Brad Smith.

7-88- 1TD

I wonder if Smith or McCareins will be a good play this week. It seems like Washington focused on Moss last week and did better than other team...

I see Cotch with 5-60

This will be a big test for Cotch as the #1 guy. He's obviously benefited in the past from having Coles as the go-to guy, but now has to prove that he can still manage to get open in (assumed) double coverage.

JC should get a good number of looks, but don't be surpised if Brad Smith is the guy that has the better stats.

I agree...The fact that Clemens in his first game, no Coles to take coverage away, vs Washington after getting embarrassed last week leads me to Cotch will dissappoint this week. Probably good WR3 statsWashington still hasn't allowed a 100 yd WRThey facedR.MossWelkerBoldinFitzDriverRoy WilliamsPlaxicoChambersK.CurtisThese are some really good WRs...from the above group they also only allowed 5 TDs(Boldin had 2 with under 30 yards receiving, 2 came last week from Welker and Moss, and Plax got 1)Benching him for S. Holmes

I won't be surprised to see Clemens look like garbage, the backup QB is always the favorite player on a team.... until he stinks up the joint too. We'll have to see, but I won't be shocked if they start chanting "Chad" .
