This complete jerkoff I know decided to walk around carrying a loaded AR15 in public, to exercise his rights. A cop drew his gun, ordered the guy onto the ground, and threatened to blow his head off while he held him down with a knee in his neck from behind. Now, I think that cop was out of line, and should be sued and probably get some training, but I endlessly ridicule the jerkoff because what the #### did you think was going to happen, you idiot? I don't condone police brutality, but it's funny - mostly because he's not dead.
So is it safe to assume if we go back through the Ferguson thread we'll see all the posts where you and Tobias endlessly ridiculed Michael Brown for the same douchy behavior?
Michael Brown had a loaded AR15?
Wait, no, he had a box of cigarillos or something. That seems different.
Oh, sorry about that. I thought you were alluding to the broader theoretical construct that people acting like d-bags (ie – confederate flag waiving guy) are free to do so under the law, but not free from ensuing public ridicule and scorn. Your use of the word “EXAMPLE” kind of implied linkage to an overarching theme.
So if I piece together your logic, it looks something like this… You think it’s ok to “endlessly ridicule” someone who carries an AR15 in public to make a Constitutional point (and if we are talking Texas the act itself is probably legal – at least it’s debatable); and that it’s also ok to ridicule a person’s legal right to waive a confederate flag at an anti-flag rally; but you personally won’t ridicule Michael Brown for robbing a store, assaulting an old man, attacking a police man, grabbing his gun, and resisting arrest? I just find it comical that you would apply the phrase
“what the #### did you think was going to happen, you idiot?” to the AR15 guy and not Michael Brown. You should probably just acknowledge that tdoss was right about the Liberals in here. You take hypocritical stances that vary from case to case depending upon the color of the person involved.
