What established FF Starter takes the biggest hit? (1 Viewer)

Gotta hate it when one of your guys takes a big hit on draft day. Whose stock drops the most when his team drafts this month? Conversely, whose stock jumps based on who his team does/doesn't draft?

If AD slides past Cleveland, he probably won't fall past Arizona and Minnesota. Sure, the Cards could use an offensive lineman, but this pick wouldn't surprise me with Edge's mileage. Actually, what a huge swing in fortune for James between the Cards drafting a lineman or AD. Either choice would benefit Leinart. Does Edge or Chester take the hit?

Yes, they both have bigger needs but if they go "best player", the Lions (gulp) or Browns could take Calvin. Is this a big blow to Roy Williams or Braylon Edwards? Or, are we looking at a 1A & 1B situation?

Guys that could smell like a rose? I expect the Pack to draft a back at some point, but Vernand Morency will move up my rankings if the pack doesn't grab a RB on day one.

GB RB's are f'in money, back to the days when I drafted a relatively unknown goal-line guy named Dorsey Levens in the 2nd round of my local $$$ redraft, days after Edgar Bennett was lost for the seasonLevens went on to lead the NFC in rushing, while TD (my 1st rounder) led the entire NFL...ka-ching!

That's a great story. Too bad it didn't happen. Levens finished in the top ten of the NFL in rushing once, and he was only 2nd in the NFC that season. Barry Sanders lead the league in rushing, and TD was second.They were 2nd and 3rd in the NFL in yards from scrimmage though, so, while they were a great RB tandem in '97, they weren't exactly what you remember.

not a guy who's status will be hurt by the NFL draft, but, Frank Gore being the poster child for the biggest FF starter set to take a hit in 2007 ( losing Norv Turner is going to kill that offense).

Aside from him, I'd have to say Cadilllac Williams: if CJ is gone, yet AD is available, do the Bucs snag him? tough question to answer, IMO..Caddy has proven little if nothing as a starting RB in two seasons in the NFL, and his constant injuries are cause for concern in TB. Enter AD. Not saying it will definitely happen, but if it does, Caddy's future in TB takes a big hit.

if KC DOES NOT take 3-4 O-linemen in this draft, without a doubt, LJ will take the biggest FF hit...

Tatum Bell if Detroit grabs AD at #2.

Ahman Green, WHEN/IF Houston selects Lynch @10

Edge James if AD slides to Az.

Brandon Jacobs , if Giants somehow pull off a deal for M. Turner ( not likely but it could happen)

As a Galloway owner in two leagues, I've felt like I've been playing with the house's money for two years and would have no complaints if the run ended now. At his age, and thinking Michael Clayton was overtaking him two years ago, I won't feel dissatisfied when his numbers finally are no longer useful. Especially in the league where he was a WW pickup three years ago.
