MLB is garbage. You can pick out half of the teams in the league at the beginning of every year and count them out of the playoff hunt. I can't imagine the NFL wants to get anywhere near that.

If the salary cap goes away, then you end up with maybe 10 teams in the NFL.It would be suicide for the owners, organizations and players.I don't see it happening.

If that happens, the Washington Redskins will never lose another game.  Danny boy will make his squad a real fantasy team.  What players become unrestricted free agents in '07 I wonder?

Without a Salary Cap I don't think Green Bay winning it in the '90's would have ever happened. And this from a Viking fan.

Salary cap aside, without Favre, G.B. would have sucked the last 15 years anyways.

Without the salary cap, Favre would probably never have stayed in Green Bay. His worth alone could have been upwards of 15 to 20 million a year.
